Twitter and BRFCS in absolute meltdown, along with every other social media platform I presume.

Mowbray getting absolute pelters, yet hardly a single mention of the word VENKYS.

It’s about time people concentrated on the cause, not the symptoms.

You mean Venkys who have been funding the running of the club? If they weren't we wouldn't be here.

To the people who can't stand comments from the likes of me: Close your eyes or be gentle.

Haven't heard from him for several hours but he just texted me:

"Outgoings: If so, you wouldn't bother

Incomings: Even I been told to wait in line, thats for certain a sign something unexpected WILL happen"

I would check your sources pal.

Chapman only cost in the 300-500k region, which we spent quite a while haggling with Boro on. 10k a week would be 520k every year in wages. He's also a young, injury prone player who had no Championship experience and the manager has shown he doesn't even fancy that much. I very very much doubt it is anything like 10k. Our top end wages are about 20k.

What a club who went extinct by over-paying their players paid out to some presumably fairly experienced players is irrelevant to what we pay a cheap punt.

Agreed, not a chance Chapman is on 10k a week, Rovers highest paid player is on less than 20k, soon to change but 10k on a fringe player who was absolutely desperate to come here. Not a chance.

Surely Davenport is the answer to sit alongside Travis? Think he looked really good against Wednesday.

I agree, i think Davenport is more than capable of filling in, been very unfortunate with injuries. Watched a few of the U23's games this season that he has played in and he bosses the middle of the park and despite the size of him, seems to love the other side of the game. Can also get up and down the pitch! Also remembering he has come from captaining Man City's U23's!

He was named his ‘source’ in Ewood, just so happens I know and respect that person and knew 10000% it was not only false but potentially harmful, I called the chap in question who obviously confirmed.

Confronted clown pants who backtracked and deleted the tweets then blocked me.

    Absolute whopper

I wonder if it was the same name he gave me? I also asked the person in question and he threatened legal action. He shit his pants ?

Yes, Sinclair is available and we spoke to parties in Glasgow  but I believe we wanted a loan to buy whereas Celtic wanted cash. Might change however if as expected Tierney’s deal to arsenal goes through with some hefty coin behind them

We are going nowhere near Scott Sinclair, he's on 70k a week. We wouldn't even pay a quarter of that. Not sure where that rumour came from.

Sharpe just tweeted that the young fella from City whose name I will not attempt to spell yet is DEFINITELY joining. Said he was in talks with City about a contract extension and that he thinks that is the reason for the delay.

He's said that isn't the reason for the delay and he doesn't know what it is.

Lewis Holtby has been at Brockhall for the past 3 days (yes, another midfielder)

Fear not, he has now gone to Turkey to sign for Galatasaray by the sounds of it.

In regards to transfers,  supposedly we want to pay fees over 4 years rather than all up front so we are being told where to go by alot of clubs.

Lewis Holtby was here with nothing more than using facilities in mind while visting East Lancashire. Agrerment was already in place with a club for him to sign. Never trained with the 1st team. Was never an option of signing.

Some have posted on here that Raya wanted to leave.  Full stop.  The question is why?

IMO, the main reasons why Raya wanted to leave:

    • His game wasn't developing as fast as it should.  IMO, that is down to 'boy' Benson our goalkeeping coach, the kid who started work in Carlisle Community Team and has never (as far as I'm aware) played professional football.  Coaching a goalkeeper is a specialist art - you need someone who's done it and got the tee shirt, a mentor who knows the art inside out from having played the game and a mentor who can build confidence and resonate with the difficulties and hurdles a young goalkeeper will face.  Hasn't Rayna already said the goalkeeping coach at Brentford is a good reason for going there - equally, I think you could interpret that Benson was a good reason for Raya wanting to get away from here.
    • Was made a scapegoat for Rovers' defensive woes.  Hasn't Mowbray done that again in his LT comments?  Last season, I can recall Mowbray openly criticising Raya and Nyambe (easy targets) but don't recall a word against Bennett who, IMO, was horrendous at right back or Williams / Bell at left back who, IMO, were persistent accidents waiting to happen, and boy did they happen!  Time and time again, our defence was ripped to shreds leaving Raya exposed.  If Mowbray, Venus and Lowe were capable of organising a defensive unit, bringing in appropriate reinforcements where needed, this would not have happened.  So, IMO, Raya's inexperience has become an easy shield for Mowbray to hide behind.

Was Raya the finished article?  Not by a long way but he has all the attributes to develop into a top class goalkeeper which I think he will.  As for crosses, I think your comments are completely wrong.  You learn by analysing, working on the the training field and putting into practice - for that, you need a goalkeeping coach with the know how and an ability to build confidence in the goalkeeper.  If the goalkeeper respects the goalkeeping coach for what he himself has done in the game and brings to to the table in terms of player development then you have a very decent chance.

You Like Ben Benson don't you. Why do you refer to him as the boy? Do you think he is the only person who works with the Goalkeepers at the STC? Raya wanted to leave and made that clear before the season was out.

Travis is half a season ahead of him. But I can tell you that everyone rates him as the best potential in the academy. Including Travis. Buckley is the one they fully expect to play PL football. It’s not just his ability either, also the most mobile and best mentally.

Are you John Buckley? Or John Buckley's Agent ?
