I had a problem with an order recently for my nephews birthday. Wasn’t sent out. So called the club shop and spoke with Tina. She had been off, they missed the order. She refunded the postage back and offered Autographs for my nephew. When I enquired about autographs (a week later) which they had offered as a goodwill gesture, I was told the club don’t offer them anymore, so he won’t be getting them.

A small gesture would have gone a long way with my nephew. It seems Rovers don’t give a shite about the fans anymore. They are doing ‘things’, just to upset the fans. They don’t care.

so, my question is… work out how important is fans are to them.

I agree, but maybe a few home truths should be mentioned. Also, copy in venkeys, so he starts to feel uncomfortable. Let him know and them how he is really thought of by us.

You want a promotion, here's some advice on how to go about it :

#1   Get rid of any owners that are running the club name into the ground.   The poisonous elements at the hierarchy of any club that do nothing but have an adverse effect on the current and future prosperity of all that exists within your team name.  

#2    Get a fresh young manager (hitherto largely unrecognised or unknown) to come in and try their hand.      Find and work with an ownership / chairman that allows and oversees regular activity in the transfer window.  

#3    Play a 4-2-3-1  formation more often than not and don't change players during a winning run.    

#4     Make your home stadia a tough place to all opposing teams to visit.     Forget any friendly image when on the pitch and give opposition teams a tough time, send notice to others they'll have to work hard to take anything away. Fill your ground to near capacity as often as able and produce a vociferous atmosphere that will encourage your own players and deter opposition teams.  

#5    Use and deal in the transfer window as often as able.    Bring in a number of loans or no-thrills players from elsewhere and mould them into a cohesive efficient unit.

#6    Remain consistent in winning and work on and improve areas of play where difficulties may arise.     Have a large squad to choose from particularly in attacking areas.     After all, goals are the key to victory and eventual promotion.

All the above, it worked for us.    

That simple eh? Please give us some pointers on how to remove owners who don’t communicate with anyone? 

We seem to be making the same mistakes. Are the players actually learning? It’s a habit that won’t go away. Still frustrating as ever.

It’s because we have no one with mental strength or any older players with the required “experience”. It’s all “kids”.

we need some players who have this. Give Tony his due, he did always bring an “older” head in to help the younger players.

Why have these meeting with Rovers if no one is asking him any questions about such topics. Saying nothing is playing into their hands, that we as fans are accepting the decisions Waggotts making. 

Just sing throughout the match “Support the team, Waggott out!!” And repeat….

It’s interesting as to why he hasn’t been challenged on things he has done. He needs to be recorded and things played back to him on what he has said. That would be a start of watching him ‘squirm’.

The more we get at him, the more he’ll feel the heat. Make him as uncomfortable as possible. Just keep going at him.
