Just got tickets for Billy Bragg when he plays in Los Angeles in June. Anybody heard his new release? For a bit of a "retro" evening went to see the Proclaimers a couple of weeks ago. Not a bad evening out and yes, they played that 500 miles song!!

Just endured the 21st consecutive day of temperatures over 100. 117 last weekend. Electricity bill has tripled this month, just to maintain an indoor temperature of 80. Awaiting the brush fires to start to round off a scorching July! Hot and skint in California.
