  1. Sherwood was a midfielder and Cantona was a forward

I wasn't comparing their positions, I was taking the mick outta how we refused Zidane because we had Sherwood but replaced his name with Cantona just for a cheap laugh. I couldn't even get that. I feel let down and ashamed. :P

  2. Russia coach Guus Hiddink has claimed England are a team that panics under pressure and are tactically naive.
It's funny how he never said that after we hammered them 3-0

    So here is my quote:

BRFCS member Tim Southampton Rover has claimed Russia are a team that were lucky and their coach only got his first win against England after 10,000 previous attempts.
  3. The sooner he goes, the better.

He's a complete and utter idiot for most of the decisions he makes and leaves half of the team out the squad.

When Hughes was manager he was attracting crowds of 70,000 in the Millennium Stadium against the small-ish clubs...

    For example:

    29/03/2003 euro2004 Azerbaijan 72,500

    10/09/2003 euro2004 Finland 73,441

    11/10/2003 euro2004 Serbia & Montenegro 72,514

    19/11/2003 euro2004 Russia 73,062

    Toshack is attracting crowds of:

    07/10/2006 euro2008 Cyprus 20,456

    28/03/2007 euro2008 San Marino 18,752

    02/06/2007 euro2008 Czech Republic 30,714

    08/09/2007 euro2008 Germany 25,000

The last two teams should be attracting big crowds because they are two of the best teams in the international scene yet because Wales have gone drastically down hill, nobody wants to see them because they are playing such awful football.

  4. Probably go on a slide and be relegated if he left! Fortunately he will NEVER leave Rovers especially as we are on a high after finishing 4th and then 2nd in the league. If we can keep up the amazing improvement, who knows!! We might even get our hands on the Premier League trophy!

  5. It makes me laugh when people say "he's still young, give the boy a break" etc...but at 19, I never went to old lady prostitutes, I never hit a woman or swear at referees in sunday league games or swear at people who manage at work.

I'm pretty sure you get taught the opposite of the above by the age of 5, so he has no excuse really.

When you compare him to other young footballers, you don't see the likes of Peter Cech or Sendros going out and causing trouble do you...

    A great footballing talent? Yes.

    A great role model? No.

  6. I've just realised that the second sales phase starts in little over a week, but I can't seem to find any information regarding it on the website.

I beleive its first come, first serve, and would be a perfect oppurtunity to get a few more tickets in the bag....so does anyone know how its going to work?

    I'm not sure really.

If that is the case though, will the tickets be on sale from midnight and if so, what time in England? Would it be 1am CET? or 12 GMT?

  7. rover.gif just applied for england tst 5 for me and junior, will have to have our fingers crossed as i can see the england quota being well over subscribed, but you have to try tinykit.gif

Aye, i've done the same thing.

I've applied for a single ticket in the TST5 category and then if we get further, I will just try and buy tickets at the grounds.

As i'm only getting one ticket, i'm more confident than someone who is probably applying for around 4 tickets or so.

If i go, it will be an amazing experience especially as I've never been abroad before on my own! smile.gif
