Structured payments over 4 years. Jo and Ronaldiniho transfers are above Hughes' head.
It's a tough job when you can't sign the players you want and have to fit big ego'd players into your team.
after 4 years of sparky at ewood,i reckon he won't have signed anyone who he thinks ain't good enough for his team.bitching used to be for women
-
yesterday signing of JO shows why sparky left, spent more in one transfer than he did in his whole time at ewood

And your basis of this is??? ....
Are you forgetting that they are possibly also protecting the long-term interests of the club and not throwing money at it that was blitzed by the likes of Kidd, Hodgson.
Might as well throw the towel in now then, as it stands this is possibly the best it is going to get. Get used to it
not backing the manager in january is what i base it on,not a problem to me but premiership survival is all we will get with that attitude, things have changed since hodgson and kidd.JACK IS NO LONGER WITH US.

Without wanting to approach Drog's levels of cynicism ........ those sort of things are easy to say with hindsight. If he'd have got 10 mill in Jan, who's to say we wouldn't be in the same position now (but 10 mill worse off) with Hughes saying he needed 20 mill to stop him buggering off. Or given him 20 mill etc. Make your own numbers up. Reality - with 16 other Prem teams, our players/manager/coaches can be bought. And maybe that's more than 16, see Ronaldo at the Scum.
maybe i did not get my point across, rovers under this admin are penny pinching

IN TONIGHTS telewag hughes says a takeover might have kept him at ewood, what he wanted was money to spend, which he will get at citeh.many off us were flabbergasted that we did not spend in january,if we had given sparky money he may have stayed put,we will never know.what we do know in the present ownership rovers are a selling club, and give any future manager little to spend. lets get used to it

time for sparky to move on,did a great job for us,thanks for the last 3 seasons, now for some attacking football
-
we went on one off pittards infamous coaches to this tie, everyone on the coach wore the head rest covers from the seats as hats, crazy days and nights
-

i think it was this match a mate off mine was nicked for waving a tenner at the barnsley fans, after or during the miners strike.those were the days when the whole coach stayed put whilst the lad was let out off the nick at 7pm

I would love to know the reasoning behind selling him.
my nephew who is home from iraq on friday mates with joe,i will ask him the reason why he left,i'm sure it was that he wanted to play 1st team football at a decent level, actually turned down 500k to play for dundee utd
-
derbyshire is a natural finisher, who for some reason the manager thinks is a right winger
-
after the last weeks goings on,i for one am resigned to the fact that we will lose sparky to the 1st club that is allowed to speak to him.i have no doubt he wants the utd job,and maybe he has been informed by his contacts that he has to manage a bigger club than us to be considered for the utd job
-
i also thought neill had a good game,he aint even lost his habit off injurying good players

absolute tosh,if hughes did not want either JO or ANY OTHER PLAYER HE WOULD NOT HAVE SIGNED THEM
