  1. :rover: to be honest, after watching the premiership and today's game, well every game this season minus pompey away,i would not shed a tear if souey was sacked, resigned or left by mutual consent.

today's tactic's were pathetic, the summer signing's were poor, and we are losing fans in droves. :brfc:

And bringing in manager X would be a guarantee of fixing all that waggy?

Rubbish we would get a new manager, he'd lose a couple of games and  these CM player fans would be after his head, they'd all be crying "why'd we ever get rid of Souness".

I do agree though, Mr Williams needs to sit down with Souness and find out what he plans to do.  Perhaps even have him answer some of the fans questions about his tactics and playing players out of position.

Hang in there Graeme you can do it, and if we are bottom at Christmas, then Feck off. (just kidding)

:rover: the thing is my choice is MARK HUGHES,he ain't going to be available till after the euro 2004 play off's.i for one can see hughes going on to be a managerial great, and it would give him 6 week's to judge the present squad-that gives souey another few games in charge-WE LOSE TO LIECESTER ON SUNDAY,AND WE ARE DOOMED.

          :sarc:  :brfc:

    :rover: there it is :brfc:

  2. :rover: i must admire you souness fans, the man and club can do know wrong,we sold duff and it was duffer's fault,we've lost 7 on the bounce,1 against the worst team i have ever seen in the premier league.

i asked this question, when is it time to get rid, after 11 games-20-games-xmas-easter,wait till he resign's.

as for hughesy he will be available after the euro 2004 knock out's cos wales ain't going.football is a tough career, that's why they are paid soooooooooo much.

i honestly beleive the rot started,in turkey rested cole when he was on fire, play every game to win is the motto of winner's. :brfc:

  3. :rover: Here's my 7 pence worth.

      replace souness with MARK HUGHES.

Today's game was dire, even the sky commentator's were making excuses for the dire game, liecester were poor,we lost so were does it put us.

i except i am not a loyal rovers fan,i have not spent thousand's on following my team around europe and england, the same on season ticket's and kit's etc from roverthemoon.

to say we cannot sack souey after 11 games, when can we?when we are relagated-december-easter or 2005.

it's about time we realised we are in the crap,we have to move on as a club,i know 1 thing for sure,in the season 2007 or 2017 or 2027 i will be a regular at ewood, whatever division or league we are in,how many on here will be. :brfc:

  4. I'd defend him because of his record with us. And I'd feel completely justified. Promotion, Worthington Cup. Sixth place and very nearly a second Cardiff visit. And people want to judge him over the first 11 games without Duff? Insane.

:rover: well said, but duff aint coming back and we better get used to it. :brfc:

  5. :rover: i always thought the idea of a messageboard, was for people to air their view's.i have seen all our games this season apart from pompey and apart from our rip -roaring start, against a very poor wolves team, and the odd 45 min's of decent footie we have struggled.

what is fact and pure fact selling your best player's does not improve your team,i do not want a 100 replies saying duffer and dunnie left on their own accord, the fact is selling your best player's does not improve your team.

as for souness, his behaviour was disgracefull yesterday, acting like a bar=room bully, has he forgot about his triple by-pass.his tactic's in the last 2 games have been poor,1 up front is ok when you have a certian alan shearer up front but coley,is not that sort of player.

all through yesterday's match i could see from the stand's that coley was getting more frustrated, did souey not see this-i would have introduced gallacher at half-time,to take some wait of his shoulder's.now we are without our star striker for 3 games.

according to some,we would be foolish to sack him-they may be right or they may be wrong,if we lose to leicester and everton,we have a 12 day's before we go to old trafford,it will be a brave man betting that souey is in charge if we lose these 2 games. :brfc:

  7. maybe Souness just didn't know who to drop in midfield, also our strikers are doing @#/? poor in the last 3 or 4 games, it seems almost every team in the league has a range of good players, there is a fine line between winning and losing, i do think 1 win in 11 games is almost as bad as Hodgson's record but Souness needs time he will get it right, should have got a top striker however in the summer

:rover: time is one thing that we don't have :brfc:

  9. :rover:most of last night's  major trouble was caused by blackburn thugs, apparentley there was a bigger crew in town than the burnley game.it's ok to call the opposition but we have our bad guys,my mate was arrested last night for trying to help a celtic fan from being battered by 4 policeman .

when he was charged he asked what was the offence was, drunk and disorderly.

  10. :rover: well all i can say every celtic fan i met was fine, the drunken one's were typical drunks, stand your ground and they are at a loss.the club and police new of forgeries, its a lame excuse to blame the lighting.the next time i'm in the darwen end,and the stweards start pushing people around,i will remind them off the night we played celtic.at celtic park rover's stewards were helping those of celtic, why was this not the case last night.
  11. :rover: it is a shock that we have not sold out, after getting the away sale's so wrong.i know there are ticket's left as my mate got 2 this morning, weather there are 200,or 2,000 it is a poor show.just glad we gave them the whole of the darwen end.
