Still not working for me and I refuse to download the app as I can't remember my password.

Subscription cancelled incoming unless it's fixed before the Stoke City match.

    Shambles of a set up.

Just a heads up re cancellation. I cancelled my subscription (monthly same as yours) a while ago by advising in plenty of time by email as per the sites instructions. I Received no reply which I thought strange so a week later sent a follow up email and stressed that I needed confirmation that the cancellation would be done. I received no reply and a week or so later they withdrew another subscription from my bank account.

I the rang Rovers (from Australia) and got a really helpful receptionist who passed all the information to the right person who then confirmed it would be cancelled and refunded which it was a few days later. All in all a lot of messing about for a simple cancellation. Good luck.

If your country of residence has a broadcasting partner that is showing the game (or, more technically, has bought the rights to show the game), then you cannot watch it on RoversTV from that location.

So I have scanned all the sports channels and can't find where it was shown. Is there anyone who knows which TV channel showed the game in Australia ?.

Signed up for the season and i cant watch the first game!

I'm the same just bought a monthly video pass and all I get is a message saying unauthorised country...Australia.

    I'm pissed off big time.

Mowbray can go and fuck himself. The way he celebrated their second goal against us, I don't think I ever saw him celebrate like that when he was our manager.

I was going to say the same thing until I saw your post, I certainly never saw him celebrate any rovers wins like that and the uppercut gesture he made was almost like saying take that you bastards,

  6. Quite frankly I'm disappointed and frustrated with the tactics being employed as all they are doing is making it easier for the opposition teams. Messing about in your own penalty is fraught with danger and brings the opposition into close range hungering for the ball and Ayala ( granted he's a good defender) virtually stands still at times inviting trouble.

The games are won with goals and the only penalty area we should be in is the oppositions, also even 1 down with less than a minute to go we were still passing it slowly in our own area.

As others have said where is the high pressing game JDT talked about after his arrival.

From my experience the replays are usually up within 24 hours, but it varies. Don't think I've ever seen them put up on the same day.

The Celtic game was put up an hour ago if that's what you're looking for.

Yeah, But I'm talking about the International subscription plan that I'm hoping difers from the old I follow plan where they did'nt show the replay until midday the day after the game, which was 9pm to 11pm Sunday night here. The alternative was to watch it live at 2am in the morning.

  8. Well I for one will be pleased to see JDT brought in ( if that is indeed the case) and I dont quite buy the "lack of experience" worry as even so called proven managers can fail.  The thing I really like is that he was a striker so he should obviously have a attacking mentality which should make for some exciting and productive football.

Mowbray was a defender and quite obviously (IMO) he had a defensive mentality which was apparent in many games, team selection and formations etc.

For the first time in a very long time I'm looking forward to the seasons kick off and feel something thats been supressed,,,hope.

  9. I've been using Ifollow since it's inception but I could'nt be bothered watching the last few games out of sheer frustration with Mowbray. I'd already made up my mind to cancel my subscription to ifollow for next season and no matter what the club comes up with if Mowbray is still here they can shove it.

I started watching Rovers in the early 1950's and the miserable combination of Mowbray and his cronies plus the unmentionable stupid owners have have crushed my enthusiasm.

I must admit though if Mowbray was to go that would change everything.

Brereton can't head the ball and Gallagher hasn't for 3 or 4 years.

They would be tripping over each others feet. It would be embarrassing yet hilarious.

I actually like the idea of Brereton and Gallagher up front with Dolan right wing and Elliot left wing as it would help put to bed a few queries such as whether Dolan and Elliot are really effective wingers, but more importantly how the other two would perform as a pair of strikers. After all everybody has seen how ineffective Gallagher has been on the wing so it just might work although I tend to agree with your last  comment.

  11. Totally deflated after that game, Nyambi should have played RB and should be first choice every game imo his speed was badly missed. As someone asked earlier what is JRC's natural position as it seems to me that he'd be better on the wing at least for part of the game. Last night like most games he frustrated me by passing backwards 9 times out of 10 but when he did get forward he crosses well. We needed Travis on the park last night driving forward and I can't wait for him to come back. I like Holtby and he put in a solid performance which nearly brought him a goal, but the team as a whole appeared all at sea and at times jittery and uncertain. Credit to Reading though they appeared well drilled in a game plan and they executed it precisely.

I would love to say it was just a bad night and TM will sort it by Saturday but I just can't, I can only hope that somehow he manages to sort it.

OK tech Dino here. No idea whatsoever regarding I follow.

Im currently living in Sweden and would love to watch tomorrow's game. Has any bms got an idiot proof way of how I can possibly view the Cardiff City game.

Im OK to pay... I just want a quality picture I can cast to my TV. My eyes are too knackered to view on my phone or tablet.

    Thanks in advance.

T find out about ifollow go on the main Rovers site and select ifollow from the menu then look up subscriptions where you have options to choose from.

A couple of weeks ago on this thread I was complaining bitterly about problems with ifollow and not being able to view live games or replays on my PC. After much angst  I downloaded the app and can now watch on smart phone which was really quite good but I prefer to watch on my big screen tv via an hdmi (I think) cable from my computer.

Ifollow have now sorted the problem  (and I checked with a replay) so its back to the big screen for me.

  13. I don't like to see individual players being singled out as the reason we failed to get promoted. We all know that the team carried more than a few personel that were lacking in a few departments of play and their failings there for all to see. Blaming one individual player is wrong as a few others also did not match up in many games.

The blame in my opinion is squarely down to TM as the buck stops with him, it was up to him to sort all the obvious problem instead of creating them with all the known wrong formations, players out of position, team favourites and many more that we are all aware of. They were his teams and his selections it was up to him to remedy the faults, he was the reason we did not get promoted not any individual player especially as he was the reason for the player being here in the first place.

As I said just my opinion.

I normally watch it on PC, but had to watch it on my phone via the app last week due to the subscription renewal issues.

I'm seeing the same issue as you though - highlights are working fine, but full match replays are not working (the video thumbnail has a 'Register Now' button overlaid on it, and when you click it it just takes you to the Match Report).

I expect the live match should be working tonight but keep us posted if you're still having issues.

Thanks for that I feel a bit relieved now as I thought it was my computer. I downloaded the app to my phone and checked that at least that's working so I can see the game on that. After all the hassles I just hope it's worth it

  15. Just been on to the ifollow site and spoke to someone in "chat" but got fobbed off again with "the technical team are aware of the problem" so I asked for a phone number for the technical team and was told, and I quote, "there is no phone to contact them, we are the contact point."

Then I laid out all the details of what has been happening and was told they know the replays are not working (and I assume the live games) and to download an app, which is no good to me as I'm using a PC. I then received an apology and they ended the chat session. So I've spent a week getting automated replys and now got no information from chat.

One question I have for Perth Blue02 or any other Aussie viewer is are you using a PC because if you are that puts an even worse light on the problem.

  16. The best way to answer this is as follows, my answers are in red

Have you ever bought anything from the club shop, shirt etc? If so you will have a my Rovers account. NO

Back to the problem of videos, can you follow this link https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2020/september/highlights-newcastle-united-v-rovers/ YES

On the video player screen, does it say sign in or register to watch? just above where it say match highlights Newcastle v Blackburn etc YES

If so when you press the video player screen does the ifollow login screen then appear? YES

    a) If it does, once you enter your log in details , and hover over your name in the top right corner does it show your name twice , one below the other? If so one of those will lead you to the my rovers account and one to your ifollow account . YES

On the video player screen as the sign in or register to watch prompt been removed? YES

If so when you press play, what happens? JUST A BLACK SCREEN

    b) If it does not show the ifollow log in screen, (it maybe the case that you are experiencing the strange signed in but not really signed in thing that I encountered) try logging out from your account on the link above where it shows your subscriptions etc LOGGED OUT OK

I'm still looking into your other suggestions however (weirdly) if I log into ifollow  without following your link I can see the highlights perfectly in latest videos or matches, but as soon as I try to watch the "full replays" under matches all I get is a written match report and of course trying to watch a game "live" I get a black screen and text commentary. It's strange that your link brings up a different result for the highlight games but then everything is strange about this problem and I still haven't heard back from ifollow support than from a robot.

I've now found that I can watch the Highlight games  on ifollow without even logging on,

Sorry if the above sounds a little stupid but trying to get a handle on where the problem lies.t

As OnePhilT mentioned ,  Can you also download firefox  https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/   and try to access on that, if that works means its something to do with chrome , maybe need to alter some settings.

A google search on videos not playing in chrome (ifollow but other sites with embedded videos) suggest a solution of disabling hardware acceleration in chrome, and relaunching chrome (sometimes enabling and then disabling a couple of times is needed)

  18. Firstly thank you to OnePhilT, Miker and perthbue02 for your input

Phil, Chrome is up to date and all caches and history cleared.

Miker and Perth blue you both mentioned a Rovers account but that's interesting as I don't have one, but that's never affected ifollow matches before.

Actually to give you a better picture, if go to ifollow without signing in I can go all over the site but when I click the "watch it now" button all I get is a Match Report.

If I sign in and carry out the same procedure the same thing happens, its like I'm not signed in but with one difference being that I can see my profile and payment history etc.

As a last resort I suppose I'd better try getting a Rovers account, I know that sounds bad but theres fat chance of me buying tickets from my neck of the woods. :).

If that fails I have run out of ideas

  19. So I have a problem with ifollow that has me stumped so hoping for a little help. (by the way I'm in Australia)

I signed up and paid my full season subscription as I have done for the llast 2 seasons then sat down to watch the opening game live but all I got was a black screen with a revolving white circle accompanied with a live match text commentary and after the first half gave up and went to bed. The next day I tried to watch the replay and again al I get is a match report.

For the last 3days I've cleared the caches etc and still cant watch the replay plus I've sent numerous emails to ifollow but each time i get automated replys saying someone will contact me, but they haven't. I even used chat and was told it had been passed to the tech dept and of course they will contact me which they haven't. I even tried ringing them but the only number on their website is no good.

I'm using google chrome on a pc which has not been a problem in the past, any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Cheers
