Mr. 75 do you frequently play Mrs.75's straight man?
-
A strong showing of nearly 22K in Ewood Pk. was good to see & a very good reflection of the good citizens of Blackburn. The Park, as always was simply beautiful & provided a apt frame for the festivities.
I was dissappointed the Swedes failed before reaching the final-but the Norweigan's gave a good account of themselves. Their goal in the first half vs.
Germany was stunningly well played.
Well done, Blackburn.

Aye.. they swallow rather than spit
SteB- I'm going to hand you a yellow card warning for that one !!!
-
The football bit is pointless of course, but I must say one or two of our squad look quite tidy to me. If they want to boost attendances I suggest they play in Beach Volleyball kit.
Are you Sepp Blatter in disguise??
(My apologies M-K).

Very nice appearance to the new MB. well done.
It has a more business-like aspect to it- more stealthy
for office consumption.
cheers for that !!
Al .

John Obi can have his thread back and hopefully his knees intact as well, but I interpreted Udderfelt blue's commentary to be half in jest -- there's no reason to jump down his throat.
-
he's a quick little barsteward...
we must be wary -it'd be a shame to miss out on the point now.
-
Emerton ?!?!?!?!? of all people.... Will wonders...
-
Agreed Greggyk-
there's no way we can give him that mantle just yet, the jury is still be out on Sparky. our history is too rich to jump the gun- perhaps if this was a smaller, fly by night operation like (fill in your own blank).
That said, gotta love Sparky. Big heart on that man !
-
My understanding is the Everton is out-
just another reason to root hard for the red scousers.
-
Christ !!!
Even soccernet 's joining in the fun, getting on Sparky's back. Check the caption beneath sparky's picture. 'Not afraid to show the back of his hand' or something to that effect. what w**kers!!!
The bandwagon 's gotten quite full now.

Lovely rant, FLB ! Well done, son.
I rather like being referred to as Blackburn's Angry Mob. It's a right footballing sobriquet...
Let them talk, we'll buy it if we want, ignore it if we must. They need us more than we'll ever need them.
Roll on, Rovers.

My nomination for post of the year:
Anyway, we might even qualify for the UEFA cup as "Fair Play" winnerscongratulations, CirrenRover-
come on down and collect your prize!
-
AGONY !!!
-
To all of us tackling the roads & rails the length of the country, I wish you all happy trails. Enjoy to the utmost & stay in one piece (relatively).
Sing your hearts out and do us proud !
I am very jealous!
Go YOU Blues !!!!

This past week:
The Flaming Lips- Soft Bulletin
Yoshimi Battles .... Giant Robots.
Track #10 in Soft Bulletin- is the track i'd love to see Rovers come out to. sublime.

I would think that a draw away at Manchester should warrant the viewing of one, no ??
1 point = 1 boob.
(Or is that Boob, I? ).
-
In short, at that time he was an arrogant, lazy, mouthy ____ who was a huge waste of oxygen
And this is the man for us?? Just how much maturing has Bellamy done in the meanwhile ?
-
Wow, Cheeky.. well done lad.
You've put much thought into your thesis.
Question you though:
If presumably played out of position, where in the park should our man Chicchio have played?
-
I'm thinking Bazza IS A BRASILIAN GRANNY.
Anyone catch the match at the weekend, did the wee lad even play? I would think a match at San Siro vs. Italy for WCQ is as big as it comes. Maybe not as big as an OF, apparently.
His desertion was the best thing that could have happened to Rovers. Perhaps the medicine didn't taste good going down, but in the long run - you'll see. For the best.
Tremendous bottler.
-
Should I feel priveleged to be getting called a Geordie with a brain, I wonder?
Radagast, would that make you scottish???
-
As previously mentioned:
it has to be the Benny Hill theme
-
Cassez-vous FA les putains
Break the FA whores ??
surely, something lost in the translation???
-
It appeared that MGP's deliveries went south sometime during the second half of Sunday's match.... knee hi balls and wasted chances too close to GK.

I'm not so optimistic as to predict 24 or 18 or whatever points.... it would be nice to be out of single digits-- 12 being a bonus! West Ham will be up for it on Opening Day, I would have preferred an established club to kick off the festivities.
Having the fixtures out puts everything into perspective--the league will shortly resume and don't have to watch some of this vapid International fare for my footballing jones.
