  1. Was a decent match, have to say the atmosphere from our fans was immense!!!

The Mokeana song to the tune of the macarena was sheer brilliance, as was the chant of 'there must be sheep outside' as the cardiff fans were exiting the ground laugh.giflaugh.gif

Flopsy is spot on with his report, though I have to mention Matteo.

He has to be the worst player I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. he may as well have been wearing a cardiff shirt today, the amount of times he passed to their players. he did however give me the biggest laugh in ages as he attempted an overhead kick clearance with absolutely no grace whatsoever, missing the ball and all 29 stone of him sending shockwaves that could be felt up in newcastle. he did kick lumps out of their players, much like a pub player does after he has been out on the lash the night before, never play him again please!!!!!

Mokeana (know that is spelt wrong!!!) looked sharp and the rest of the team were ok, stead looked a bit crap unfortunately, hope he gets back to form asap.

Should beat them at home, no worries wink.gif

  2. Which is the better night out? Newcastle or Cardiff? Anyone know?

Newcastle, though have had my fair share of good nights in Cardiff after millenium stadium gigs, the bloke dropping his trousers and jumping up and down in blah blah's will never be forgotten wink.gifwink.gif

Would say the toon still shades it, even though I am getting a tad tired of going out there!!!!

  3. agree with most of the previews so far, Tommo has to play in the middle-well he doesn't have to but he should!!!

Fulham are potent up front with coley on the loose but I definitely feel if we work their defence they will crack, Zat Knight is a definite weakness for them. I expect goals, at least one in our net and ever the optimist i am going for a 2-1 win.

    matteo???? sad.gifsad.gifsad.gifsad.gif

These are the stats for the league anyway.

  6. Absolute rubbish, am not happy. yeah we had no manager but neither did they. Newcastle were poor but we were a disgrace, the only entertainment was us out-singing the geordies and numerous members of our fans getting arrested, not sure why!!!!

Bloke in a wedding dress was causing comedy.

Here are the players ratings for all they are worth

Friedel: No chance with goals except maybe shearers 6

Neill: Gave Robert far too much space, did not get forward at all 6

Gray: Tried but was not good enough 6

Short: Got the runaround, too slow these days 6

Matteo: Pap, why did we sign him????? 5

Emerton: Has the talent but never shows it, corners either hit first man or swung out of play 5

Flitty: Sell him, should never have played, has always been toss 5

Ferguson: Did not put his mark on the game at all 5

Pedersen: Non existent, nothing more to say 5

    Dickov: No service 5

Stead: Hit the bar, needs a goal desperately 6

sorry about short ratings but if you had seen the game you would realise that there is literally nothing to write home about!!!!

where was matt???? why play the totally inept douglas who is the biggest waste of time ever, he is NEVER going to make it.

newcastle were not good, we were just very very poor, need a manager asap and new players or else we are going down, no doubt about it. mad.gifsad.gif

  7. What time is everyone getting up here????

Yeah the wetherspoons is great, is called the Union Rooms, I will be there at some point!!!!!

Some of my newcastle mates can.t make it to the game, or are they just making excuses laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif Running scared from us!!!!

Be good to see Jansen all be it on the bench I presume, even better if we were to get a winning penalty in the final minute.

  8. I have been a Souness fan but felt he had taken us as far as he could, and some of his tactical decisions were puzzling this season. The timing is the strangest thing!!!

Will be remembered by me for that worthington cup win and the constant rants at referees, particularly the amusing tirade after the watford game at home when he banged on the advertising screen behind him muttering '......that clown in there.....'. Very good!

    Good luck to him.

A win on saturday would taste more sweet now.

The vibe that I am getting is that the geordies are not over the moon with the appointment???? laugh.giflaugh.gif
