Well him and his team definitely gave the fans a excellent display yesrerday and currently are 6th place. Thought some of the football was as good as we seen under Mowbray.
Mowbray just need to keep things simple and organise. No need for over thinking the game or switching tactics. Stick to playing counter attacking football
This is the problem. He has shown many times that he knows how to get it right, but something will inevitably go wrong in his napper and he will return to type and mess around with formations and tactics. One would think he’s been told to keep us mid table. Tin hat conspiracy theory time 😂.

Why thank you 😂🙏

Ironic how we scoffed when on arrival the V’s announced with great fanfare a cash injection of £5m per season. I laughed at the time but now ...

Shay Given
He was bought from Celtic if I remember rightly. Wasn’t youth team.

Seb Perez was class, he just wanted out as our ‘climate’ wasn’t good for him and the family.

I had the honour to work with Jim for quite a few years in the 90’s. A genuine funny man who had a big heart. More of a Morcambe fan but had a soft spot for Rovers.

R.I.P. Kelbo, have a cold one or ten with Uncle Jack.

Fixed it for you
Lol thank you.

Jason Roberts as number 2 ??? Sorry that's not even in the slightest bit funny.

skysports news just said west ham have made a bid worth 1.25m for benni
Well seeing as its Gold and co at the helm of WHU now, Rovers should tell them where to stick their offer. The amount of public grief they gave us over savage !!!

He might have scored a few goals but I think he could have scored more by now and I expect more from him. Thought Nonda worked his socks off - but please can they both stop showboating and just be more direct - really annoyed me in the last 10 mins when we could have gone for the jugular and crucified them with more goals.
I must say I thought it was rather nice seeing some entertaining showboating last night. I know it shouldnt be done all the time but can anyone remember the last time Rovers were on soccer am showboat ? The last time I can think of was Dunny (every other week lol). For a long long time now we have seen average quality performances and mediocer players grace Ewood Park. Lets have some more showboating please (but not at the expence of losing a game )

is that the 'royal we' ?
i was responding to the doom and gloom merchants. the performance was unacceptable, but it doesnt mean it's terminal and rovers'll struggle/ championship here we come.
i was pointing out that people should wait a few games, to see if the abysmal performances continue, before worrying and critisising.
The royal we ???? mmm no, please refer to my and many others post on SATURDAYS performance only .

i agree with neekoy. manner of the loss or not, it is one game.
talk of a crisis after the 1st game is ludacris.
everyone that is panicking should calm down, stop their internal dialogue, wait to see how rovers perform in the upcoming games and who we bring in before the end of the window.
Not talking of a crisis AT ALL we are just saying the perfomance was unacceptable . end of, period ,full stop, thats all ..............

Stop shouting.
The fans that saw the match were concerned over the attitude and application of the team as a whole, quite rightly so.
It's not the fact we lost, but the manner of the loss.
Well said !!!!!

I just find it amusing how Rovers fans completely and utterly over react after a defeat, especially after the first game. I was at West Ham last year and the second half performance was one of the most abject performances I've ever seen, yet we had a great season. People need to calm down and not come out wiith stupidly over blown booming statements like:
"SORT IT OUT HUGHES, SORT IT OUT NOW!"
or
"Forget about Europe, it's the Championship next season"
Somebody dig up the West Ham thread from last season, It's an exact copy of this one.
Sorry if you think my comment was Stupidly over blown ???? , but last time I looked this was a forum enabling the likes of you and me to express ourselves about all things blue and white.Hypothetical situation, you are a Rovers player and its the first game of the season, would you ponce about half arsed like we did yestreday?I know we will play better and that the shower on display yesterday was by now means a typical Hughes team performance.Living in London/Kabul I have no one to vent my frustration on and this is the only means by which I can do it - with other members of the Rovers family.Hope you understand

Glad you can see the funny side coz I cant
-
UNACBLOODYCEPTABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Portsmouth for Pete's sake!!
Sort it and sort it out now Hughes.

was that after the dutch had torn him and the irish team "apart"
i'll get me coat
I did say in parts
-
Douglas looked good in parts against Holand the other night
-
There's a considerable amount of irony in that one-line question. And I say irony because it's less confrontational than 'hypocrisy'.
I agree.
and sometimes a lot
-
Fair play, you can't blame the bloke for loving our club !!!!!!!!!!!!

How about you can play your drums as much as you like in the Darwen end .
