  1. In Australia, we do. It's no coincidence that Starc, Hazelwood, Cummins and Johnson when he played tonked us down under. Their aggression and sheer speed terrified us. Woakes is good in English conditions (or he was finally doing it before that big injury), and Broad is still pretty good at home, but the Kookaburra ball and the pitches don't help swing bowlers. We need a variety of fast bowlers including 90mph+, bouncy, vicious bowlers. Pick the bowlers according to the typical conditions of the foreign tour and not because they are centrally contracted, or can bat a bit.

Proven quality that can add to a promotion team leave that to the so called experts.

Alexi Sanchez is a bit out of our price range mate. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if you'd be moaning and complaining if Jesus Christ himself came down from heaven, with Jack Walker to take back the club, and signed a 100 year contract and scored 700 goals a season.I still think you'd be posting cryptic messages about his agent and dwelling on the one sitter he missed against PSG in a 15-0 win in the Champions League final!

Please recommend players who you would approve of, are available and would storm this division, because I'm always open to names I have not heard of.

  3. About time, though it should be used like rugby union (not sure how it works in League) and the ref can call the video ref to look at something whilst play goes on (e.g. a dodgy tackle), and incidents whereby the ref can ask 'Is there any reason I Can't award a goal?'

  4. I'd hardly call Trump, Bannon, Johnson and Mogg classy. That is a whole different issue to Blackpool. It seems that the authorities have a 'divide and conquer' startegy with clubs with dodgy owners. We are ignored and isolated, as are Coventry City, Blackpool and all the other clubs. The dodgy influences that get rich from the chaos try their best to hush up the crisis, and the FA/football league/Premier league happily go along with it as they don't want to perform surgery on their golden goose.

  5. Broad is one of those untouchables who will never be dropped. He should have gone quite a while ago as he only produces one or two insanely effective sessions every year (e.g. the 8/15 during the last Ashes). He can't bowl to the tail end, can't bat and has no bowling brain.

  6. I'll be gracious and say well done on winning the Ashes Australia. The English game needs to be completely redesigned, reformed and revamped. Take it out of the gentleman's clubs and public schools, scrap all the committees and jobs for the boys.

Immediately, I would drop Broad, Ali and Woakes. And I think being captain has destroyed Root's batting.

  7. I love robot wars, and I am a complete tool with engineering. That carbide looks formidable, much like that hypnodisc in the last incarnation. I wish it wasn't on at the same time as blue planet II.

Caught parts of snowfall, and it is good. Really good. It is a bit like city of God which is a masterpiece.

  8. 1 belt against 3 must count for something. Like you say the heavyweight division has been dominated by Europe for years. Haye, the Klitschko brothers, Valuev, and so on. I think Wilder is trying to engineer the fight to a place his fixers can pick their ideàl judges and crowd. A bit like how Mayweather didn't fight Manny P until the latter was in decline.

Vietnam BBC 4 is excellent providing a commentary on much I was unaware of but as a child of the 60s much of it rings a bell.

I second that. Way before my time but it really is good and explains how the USA got bogged down in Vietnam.
