  1. As I understand it, Ferguson wants home to Rangers. In that case it doesn't matter if Newcastle or Everton tries to buy him. Ferguson would have to agree on a personal contract so Rovers cannot force him to go to a club against his wishes. If Rangers are the only club Ferguson are willing to go to, they have all the power when it comes to deciding on a transfer fee.

  2. Before we sell Ferguson there is one questions that has to be answered. If we get about £5m for him, will we be able to buy a just as good player for the same amount of money before the transfer window closes. If not we should not sell even if we get £6m or £7m.

The goal should be to stay in the premiership. what's the point of selling Ferguson for say £5m, buy a replacement with less talent for £3 and then go down at the end of the season. Okey, we will have £2m in the bank, but lose milions in revenue next season and be in a lower division.

We can not sell without knowing if we can get the right replacement.

  3. In an newspaper interview today, MGP says he feels he is closer to getting into the team. He does not give any reason for stating this. I guess and hope it is because he is preforming better in training and he feels that Hughes is backing him up even if he is not playing at the moment.

On another note: Car crazy MGP has bought a new BMW 645 Ci.

  4. I agree with you Bobby G that when we went up 2-0 ten minutes from time that it would have been a good time to bring on MGP. Not because the other players had played bad, but because MGP could get 10 min without to much pressure on his sholders.

What i don't agree with is that it's a conspiracy not to bring him on. Why wait now to play him. If Rovers have to pay Tromsø money after 10 or 20 MGP play, when why not let him play 9 or 19 games. If he then hasn't shown what he is good enough for the team, then don't play him and save the money. Don't think Hughes will hold a player that is good enough for the team on the bench for many weeks and at the moment there really isn't any room for MGP. Sad but true.

  5. at the game on sunday emerton was on the left side because apparently 'he likes coming onto his right foot' this maybe true but this means that he cant deliver a very good cross when the oppurtunity arises which kept happening on sunday.

The best place for him is on the right with either Reid or Pedersen on the left, so that there will be oppurtunities for our strikers.

So Emerton should do what Pedersen did. Learn how to use your left foot. Pedersen is right footed, but since there where so few left footed players he teached himself how to use the left foot as well.
