  1. Gutted…hate, hate hate  defeat ..however…

POSITIVES ..I saw a fight / pride in the shirt that I haven’t seen for some time..….

Travis, Szmodics have returned to form  at the perfect time…

Hyam will prove to be a brilliant signing , JRC played like I never imagined possible , young Carter has a  bright future , Pears justified his selection …

We gave a great account of ourselves on national TV…and rather be beaten by a top goal than penalties….( and dreadful referee)

NEGATIVES……a young lad who’s more concerned with himself( how he looks, how he struts )  than the shirt …gave away the goal… NOT for the first time this season . Surely JDT had observed  their midfield were gaining strength by the minute and weak Morton was not the answer…

How Gallagher continues to pull on a shirt and gets  praise on this message board  😳 the “ man” is weak, no football brain, no killer instinct…just bad!

Brererton ….a myth of a man …if only he had guts …

What turned out to be shocking substitutions from JDT ..Dolan should have been on ( for Gallagher ) as soon as we went 2.1 up ..

I’ve felt FAR FAR worse when defeated this season …so, two weeks off …regroup, go again….we NEVER said this with Mowbray or the lesser lights before him…let’s learn and move on …it’s been a great ride ..

  2. Hate, hate hate Pearson…we should have signed him. EVERY time he plays against us.. he’s the man we are BOYS .

Hedges , Gallagher , JRC …nothing short of embarrassing for their third goal…can’t think of one player who deserved the shirt….as for Morton, Buckley …can cope with lack of ability..can’t cope with lack of balls many didn’t even want a 60/  40 ……..

Just  soooo glad I didn’t travel ….thoughts are with those who did ….

  3. This was FAR worse than anything Mowbray put out ….and , believe me…I was no fan of Mowbray ..

as it stands..we have a manager who is finding this job far too big for him..

we have players not good enough for this league ..BBD was an embarrassment ……..Gallagher needs to find another sport……. Buckley is VERY limited in guts……. Travis runs like he’s in thick  mud ( but tonight was one of his better games ) …….Morton is world class in his own head…..Dack is carried when we haven’t got the ball…Vale ..where do I begin?

I feel sorry for JRC, both Whartons , Dolan , Pickering and others too ordinary to mention

Thomas ( our best player until he cramped up ) will be very sorry the paperwork was done….O’Brien will be very pleased the paperwork wasn’t done .….

    and  the pitch ????

Exactly right. ‘Organised’ protests just end up with a few hundred or so fans looking a bit daft as the majority don’t join in as you ‘should just get behind the lads’.

Spontaneous eruptions of anger during a game (usually if you go 1 or 2 down) is when you get most joining in, they forget about ‘the lads’ then…

I’m glad you thought we “ looked a bit daft” Matty. These “ organised “ protests , meetings , letters , radio involvement were in an attempt to save our club from exactly where we are today ….we tried..sadly you and others who thought of us as “ daft “ possibly  felt it beneath you ..

You ask for spontaneity…I’ve no idea where that will come from. Today’s Ewood fans are an extremely forgiving lot …or is it just apathy ? ….and a further example of the dumbing  down we have seen for the last 12 years ??

The strange thing for me, if I was to rank the latest episode it would rank a lot down the table in terms of the "darkest hours" under Venkys.

However the reaction to this is off the scale in terms of supporter opinion, im struggling to find (since the statement) a single person not baying for blood.

I didnt see this sort of reaction on two relegations

    Who'd of thought?

Well said Glen….the difference is … many of us , you particularly, knew of the illness in the club in the early days of V reign…nothing moved  the fan base ….most chose to remain in denial ….it takes a public clanger, like this one,  to get them to finally accept the levels of incompetence and neglect at Ewood .…

Maybe the fan base has turned …. years too late …but, I will take the turn .

  6. My fingers itch to type …but my heart aches too much . I don’t trust myself not to write libellous words ….when we “ know “ the outcome of this embarrassing debacle I will post as I hope it will be therapeutic for me ..

We’ve had bad days …too many to mention but this level of incompetence has rocked me …never felt as low ( not  because of the non arrival of a player ) but …we are a shell of a club , a broken shell …

  7. Well…..the North End signing is a little depressing…..but, of greater concern to me is …currently we have a new winger ( right ) …does  this move Gallagher to play centrally ( shocking goal returns thus far ) ? Will Dack play off him ? Will we have Brererton wide left ( shocking goal return of late ) ….…

…..this forces  us to play  2 little boys in midfield…….always overrun by other Championship teams who play  3 men ?

So much to look forward to…

  8. Today we continued to see just  how many players have regressed since the appointment of JDT.

Kaminski   Wharton   Buckley   Travis    Brererton    Gallagher    Ayala

We continue to see just what a bad bit of business we did with Liverpool with Morton…and the shocking loans of Hirst and Mola

and we have Broughton and Waggott at the wheel …come on you positive posters …explain to me where we’re going

  9. I really get Bazza and Leonard Venkhater …I too feel the same way …

My “ marriage “ with BRFC began to hit the rocks as Venkys hit town .
I didn’t want diamond rings, fancy meals out , the promise of  grand holidays..I just wanted to feel valued, a part of the marriage ..then “ Steve “ came along and , as Diana once said “ There were 3 of us in this marriage “…and only I wanted it to work …he bailed out and “ other strange men “ followed….even more strange men …and I am led to believe a strange woman too!……………..

Friends advised me to “ do something “ ..so I fought for my marriage …I marched, I wrote to Jack Straw , I rang 5 Live , talk sport , Radio Lancashire …and I even challenged one of the  “ strange men ,  Shebby “ face to face at King George’s Hall …more empty crap came from his mouth ..

By now I’m needing counselling…but  I couldn’t leave the place I had called home for 50 years …it was now looking tired but it was home to me …until Covid broke my fruitless affair …I couldn’t visit my home …then I had a season affair with another called Stanley at The Wham….it was ok and I was treated well but…..I could never forget my first love …today I mourn for the club I once loved …..they say time heals …it doesn’t . I still see it on TV…..and what a bloody mess it looks …ah well, as they say ….you get what you pay for …and we’re  paying for it 🥲

He’s not smart enough to go any higher.

Totally agree re Khadra …pace and step overs …..not the effort of Dolan or the brain of Hedges…..we’re far better off without him……but I would love to see us put in some kind of offer for Pearson at Bournemouth. He figures as regularly as Rothwell ..and we all  about that ! ,

Ben Pearson would be an excellent signing. Exactly what is needed.

Him and an adequate Hirst replacement and I'd be very happy. I highly doubt we have the funds for this though

Can’t stand him in an opposition shirt ….would love him in a Rovers shirt, just what we’re missing…a nasty piece !

  12. This JDT football does not create chances, it doesn’t put the opposition under pressure , it is naive, it is ponderous , it has no intent …it is hard to watch .

With  every passing game my belief in the manager decreases..his substitutions are bewildering..defeat totally on him .

We have a midfield of boys where men are needed and we have a Chilean striker with the strength  a kitten . BBD needs to be sold  in this window …he gives us nothing …my only solace is…I didn’t travel .

Things need to change …and soon. I just hope he isn’t afforded the time given to Mowbray
