He's on loan to West Brom from Man City. Would of thought they will want him back for their team.
He does look good from what i've seen.
-
I would rather he was playing for us than his country when the Premiership matches are on

Benni McCarthy is set to end his 19-month international exile after being called into the South Africa squad for next month's clash with Zambia.
Benni back in South Africa squad
Looks like we could be losing him in January then
-
In other words; nobody could play him in the CL until the round of 16 if he plays on Thursday.
Cheers for the info.
Glad I got that one wrong
-
I think it's only the Uefa cup he will be cup-tied for. He will still be able to be registered for the Champions League

Newcastle are also considering a second look at Congo international striker Shabani Nonda who was at Blackburn on loan last season from AS Roma.
United were keeping tabs on Nonda last season under Glenn Roeder and, although Allardyce will have his own ideas in the transfer market, the player is still within the Magpies’ sights and would be available at a knockdown fee.
The 30-year-old forward failed to hit the heights in Serie A with Roma after a goal-filled career in Switzerland and then France.
Nonda struck 36 goals in 75 games for FC Zurich before springing to prominence in France with 31 for Rennes and 57 for Monaco during an era of Champions League football when the principality club reached the final only to lose 3-0 to FC Porto.
Nonda then moved to Roma but struggled to recapture his form in one of Europe’s top leagues before being farmed out to Ewood Park last term.
Yet although Nonda shone at times for Blackburn under Mark Hughes, netting nine goals for the Lancashire club, the striker isn’t convinced that Rovers are the club for him.
Nonda would also offer some physical presence and strength for United too as Reading keeper Marcus Hahnemann knows only too well after breaking THREE bones in his hand after a challenge with him during the final game of last season.
Despite the fact that Blackburn have first option and are prepared to splash £2m to land Nonda, he may turn his nose up at the prospect of a permanent move to Ewood Park.

Now Reidy is injured, we may just give them what they want i reckon, though £1m + £1m add-ons is quite steep

did you ask him if there was any chance at all of him signing a new deal and staying, though looks very unlikely ??

Centre Back according to here

How does it not make sense?
Todd is playing well at the moment so I for one wouldn't drop him, It could be a mistake to play 2 new players at the heart of the defence while they are adjusting to life in the Premiership. So I would have Todd partnering one of the new lad's that come in, whichever one it might be
I definately trust Hughes judgement over Souness, Todd was brought back into the team by Hughes after Souness had a falling out with him before he left
I do agree with you however about getting rid of Amoruso, could do with him being off the wage bill
