If we were to sign a new main striker who came off or if Brereton was given a proper chance down the middle and clicked and Rothwell and Chapman became mainstays and Dack stayed and Armstrong became more consistent I'd agree. 

Lot of it's buts and maybe's  there though.

Doesn't inspire me either, especially as I reckon Dack is going. Would like to think if he does go for let's say £15 million then at least £5 million will go on one player and the other £10 million to the Venkys obviously.

When I opened this page I expected to see a barrage of negativity about this signing as there has been on the transfer thread. 

I think it's a decent signing. Would imagine he'll be good for Chapman.

If we got offered 15 million for Dack I would take it. Rothwell to play in the Dack role, Chapman and Armstrong out wide. Use that money along with what we have, to bring in 2 centre halves, 1 being Hanley, a winger, a striker and a right back.
