i seen the spanish squad on telly lastnight and fairplay it looks good on paper.
spain recently have done poor in the last few world cups, maybe this campaign they could shine to their ability.
-
from skysports, clubs players of the season according to match ratings:
bellamy for us
http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=38...yer+of+the+Year
-
pure class again bob, enjoy your holidays
-
england and brazil are the favorites for me.
my dark horses are czech rep and holland.
i really fancy the czech to do well this year and the dutch usually do well in germany.
-
robinson
neville terry carragher a.cole
beckham lampard gerrard cole
owen rooney
i really think ferdinand should be on the bench, he has had a poor season, he is lazy and to be honest 20 odd million bucks worth of ####.
terry and carragher could form an awsome partnership imo.

dillo can we see a picture of you?

has lawro finally seen the light???
a victory
-
beach balls, rubber rings, party hats, wigs, i hope the guy down at charlton brings the 10ft blow up crocodile too, that was awsome!!!
should be a well good day, it will be interesting to see how certain players may play better with no pressure on them.
-
i think we will play
friedel
emerton zurab neil gray
bentley tugay savage pedersen
bellamy kuqi
subs: enks, peter, pongo, axe and dickov
looks like nelsen, reidy, todd and matteo are all missing through injury.
emerton has played right back before i beleve when playing in holland, if hughes doesn't fancy that i think the axe will probably fill in.
finish the job in style 3:0 rovers
-
the last 2 games, neil and reidy have really dug in.
due to injuries they have been forced to move positions and have looked rock solid and have been awsome.
these are proper players, don't moan and winge about every little thing, just get on with the job and do their best.
-
1 win in 16 european games
it's time to put the record straight
-
prague would be fun, cheap beer and all that
have to say i don't really mind who we play or where we go, just enjoy the ride
-
who gave lawro crayons this week!!!
he's gone for a draw, 1-1

it's just like the real thing

awsome day, jansen was immense that day, if you remember he got subbed by yordi, who are you with 15 mins to go???
sullivan was in goal for spuds and ziege scored the equalizer because tiny taylor was right back and was getting skinned in the first half.
got the train up early in the morning, the pubs and the atmo before the game was class, can't remember much after the game, i was smashed.
hughes was playing central midfield that day with dunn
i had perfect seats int he second tier right behind the goal, iv'e never seen him since but the poor chap who was sitting in front of me (a grant mitchel lookalike) if your on here, i'm sorry for slapping your head all the time and standing on your sholders when we scored, i did say sorry at the time but i think we were so wasted and going wild and by the smile on his face i don't think he was bothered, a top bloke.
-
also on the bbc!!!

good news about our mistro tugay though
-
my prediction is 0-0 and pen's and thats just a lottery!! after last years thriller is back to the tactics of all out defence and boring keep ball, a traditional european cup final.
if henry scores the winner i wonder if the barca faithfull would still want him so badly?
-
i thought gresko was still injured?
-
i don't think west ham are to bothered with the defeat and the chase for 6th in the league, they have already sealed europe by making the f.a. cup final. even if west ham lose, liverpool are in the champs league and west ham will be given the u.e.f.a. cup win or lose. i think that is right?
-
it's all over the news this morning, the guy has the best cv and even though he is not english, at the moment he is the best man for the job.
i feel abit sorry for curbs, fat sam etc. but the bottom line is that they just ain't good enough which is a really sad thing to say.
scolai has not accepted the deal yet, i beleve he didn't want to be approached until afer the world cup, due to the portuguese public, i mean he's leading portugal into the world cup, they are undefeated in the qualifiers, all he wants is some space to finish the job there first.
i wouldn't be surprised if scolari turned around and said no to the fa.
-
top class once again bob, good stuff
april so far has been awful, 2 draws, 2 defeats and europe slipping away!!!
losing to big club was a nightmare, the liverpool loss was a disgrace, so hopefully we got something left in the locker we have been saving to give the addicks a pasting and end april on a high.
come on!!!!
-
i was in my local pool club the other week and steve "interesting" davies or also known as the romford slim was there with mathew stevens.
stuart cable( ex phonics drummmer) and jamie bolch(sp) athletics were also there just for the crack me thinks
.
it was a good day, they done trick shots and were playing against the public in pool and snooker.
i couldn't beleve how skinny davis is though, i knew he was thin but he's like wafer thin!!! needs a good meal that bloke.
fairplay though, the guy can play though he didn't beat me
-
this years world championship has been awful fairplay, snooker is a boring game to watch anyway but there isn't the characters in the game anymore.
john virgo and willy thorne send you to sleep in commentry and ronnie doesn't even look as if he is bothered, he doesn't even shake the other players hand properly.
-
charlton are more than likely going to play dennis rommedahl(sp) on the right wing against us on saturday as pace against our defence usually causes us problems.
if matteo played left back, dennis R for short could knock the ball ten yards past him, sit down and have a cup of tea and a fag, quick chat with the mrs and still get up and out pace matteo to the ball. i've seen milk turn quicker that matteo, he hasn't played in how many months and isn't match fit thank god and the fact is, matteo is crap and thankfully looks as though he is getting the boot this summer.
gray isn't the quickest, we seen that against spuds when lennon flew past him but he has been part of the side all season and is a much beeter option that matteo.
gresko i think is half decent, awsome when he was first here on loan but since he signed on a permanent deal he lost it and has struggled with injuries, certainly this season, i think he is still out now?

carlos going to chelski would be a great signing for them and for english football imo.
ballack on 130k a week is a joke, he's a good player n all but i bet he won't be complaining to much when he's sitting on the bench and collecting his wages at the end of ther week.
with formation wise, if chelsea play ballack, lampard, essien and makelele in midfield, all central midfielders reallythe signing of carlos with give more width with the fullbacks i.e ferrera and carlos bombing forward>?
