  1. Are Rovers a real contender for top 6 or are we bottlejobs?  JR gave us the key to the door... now we just need to open it! Typically we like playing QPR - but something in my boots tells me this could be tricky... Charlie is back scoring goals, and they have Johansen in midfield (who we were linked it earlier) so I think we can expect a bit of a scrap come saturday... more thoughts for you right here....

  2. Win and we are back in, lose and I am back on the booze! Luton Town = Boogey Team! Who da thunk it!?  Not in 2021! This is our house! We might not be there but its ours...  They will come to frustrate, and annoy us, and if they get the first goal it could be a long 90 minutes!  But if we show them what we are capable of we can win this in style!

40 years in the making... a Rovers win against Luton in the league! It happens tomorrow!

  3. So we got away with one... it happens... we have been on the receiving end of some dodgy refereeing in the past, and I am sure we will in the future.  My thoughts on the matter would be in hindsight... one of two things should have happened.

    1. Red card & penalty

    2. Yellow card & penalty

I am of the mindset that unless something is malicious we stick with option 2.  Dont destroy the game for all of us, give the injured players team a brucie bonus penalty and the fouling player a yellow.  No double damage! Option one is only for a a malicious nasty tackle within the area.

  4. Lets restart the belief of our club and start the year how we tend to end it... with a BANG! Show us what we are made of lads!  Expecting a standout performance from Big Ben if nothing else.

As for Mowbray, we may have hit a stagnant phase, and I would be one to explore other options however we may be wasting our breath as I doubt the hierarchy seem bothered about replacing him, especially during these times.  Match preview and more.

  5. Stonker of a performance but biggest win all season - chance to reboot our campaign ahead of some key players returning in the coming weeks.  That result will bring in some much needed confidence ahead of a couple of tricky matches, i felt a draw or worse could have knock the belief out of us.  Relived too with Armstrong ending his good drought.  Bring on Stoke!

  6. Dogged display but YUGE result which keeps us bubbling along as others above us slipped up.  If we can (dare I say it) make it 6 unbeaten midweek we could be in decent shape to make a top 6 push before the end of the dreaded 2020.  Recent goals from Gally and Big Ben have me smiling as if they continue to shine we might have the tools to surprise some more as the season goes on,

  7. We are due a win against that lot down the road but will it be this week?  Positives from the weekend were the return of Douglas and the goal from Sam G.  Team selection will be interesting especially as to who will get the nod in midfield with out BJ.  Holtby may have arrived back just in the nick of time.  I believe we will get something here... will it be a win? Jury is out.

  8. I heard mumblings that Armstrong may in fact make this match but lets wait and see.  Whoever plays a dramatic improvement needs to take place as we cant be scraping draws at home like we did midweek.  Dare I say it, we have a good record against QPR and if ever we needed a bit of positivity it is now. Downing free kick to seal it?
