Tony Pulis for me knows the league and when expectations or low he seems too excel
I hope you’re kidding. As boring as Mowbray.

Sorry, he has to go.
Lost confidence in his tactics, signings, general plan, subs etc. Had enough now like many others have. Fresh approach needed.
Hughton in as has been mentioned.

Chris Hughton is really starting to look a tempting prospect.
Would be incredible in fairness. Always rated him.

Probably through banging his head against a brick wall as to why Bennett gets in before him.
Good shout.

How on earth did Nyambe get concussion?

Bet it will really hurt Tony having to play the new lads today.

On a plus note, I managed to sign four players on deadline day on FM with Rovers!

But hes not is he. Jenkinson has played many premier league games. Was a regular for west ham at one point until injury. If injury free, he will be well ahead. Id love your optimism, but cant share it.
He’s hardly a good player is he? Been shipped around everywhere, never settled anywhere. 7 games for Birmingham on loan.

Ill give you a cryptic clue, "can play with ball, can defend" and "
We’ve signed a left back that arguably as good if not better?

Forest sign Chema Rodriguez (CB from Spain) and Carl Jenkinson. Let's face it other teams are more advance in their thinking and setups. They have delved into Europe and signed ample cover for key areas. It's about scouting, organisation, having a plan, getting your business done early and then adding to it. We started off OK but have now failed. I've always supported Mowbray but he has proved that he isn't up to the task of moving us forward. It will be a long season. Even teams under a transfer embargo have done better.
QPR for example have signed:
Lee Wallace (LB)
Marc Pugh (LW)
Todd Kane (RB)
Geoff Cameron (DM)
Yoann Barbet (CB)
Luke Amos (DM)
Nahki Wells (ST)
and Jordan Hugill (ST), amongst others.
Under a transfer embargo!!
I said it at the start of last season and so did Mowbray, we have to look at Europe for help, yet an advert is still out proving we can't do it. That's what last year should have been all about. Our owners and management are still holding us back from a serious promotion push.
Leeds, Bristol City, Brentford, Sheffield Wednesday, Derby, Fulham, Stoke, Swansea, Forest, Cardiff and West Brom are miles ahead of us and will finish ahead of us. Unfortunately that is half of the league.
How is Forest signing Jenkinson any better than what we have done? ?

What’s with these statements? Like who?

Come on Jack Roswell really? Clearly not arsed about being here and didn’t exactly perform that well last season.

Leeds got Eddie Nweitkh laddie from Arsenal, probably now best player in division. West Brom have signed three class players just today.
Best player in the division? Bit extreme! Lad has barely played.

Extremely poor window and unfortunately most of that sentiment can be blamed on Mowbray.
As the end of last year he waxed lyrical about the European scouting network, the need to invest, a desire to get into the top 6 and the now infamous 'defenders are coming'.
We have ended up with:
- A striker at $5m we arguably don't need currently
- A 35 year old Stewart downing who will be played as a utility man
- Johnson, this is an improvement
- A left back who couldn't get into a Cardiff side
- A keeper who so far looks to be no upgrade on our academy graduate, except a few inches higher
If we didn't have the means to do anything more TM should not have raised expectations. I am fed up with his prophetic interviews where he talks about how difficult it is to sign players with all the relevant excuses...….that's your bloody job!
The buck now firmly stops with him. Results will be the barometer and I am not hopeful we will be sitting pretty in December.
I hope I'm wrong.
Agreed. But Cunningham is a good signing regardless if he was first choice at Cardiff or not, sometimes it doesn’t work out at certain clubs.

Nyambe, Lenihan, Tosin, Cunningham. Doesn’t look too bad, providing Tosin performs well.

End of the day we didn't get him because:
a) We didn't really want him/try hard enough for him
b) He didn't fancy playing on the wing for a side going nowhere
c) We didn't offer enough money
Excuses like he didn't fancy moving up north (2 hour train ride) are typical of the self pity blame deflection that we see at Rovers these days. I'm bored with it all to be honest. Nice guys who 'try hard' come last in this game.
Guess we’ll never know the true facts. None of us know what’s gone on completely. Agreed though, it’s very frustrating overall.

Think I’d prefer Damo over TM right now to be honest!
