My worst fear with this game is that he might buck the trend and actually try and go and win this one, compared to when he should have against Millwall, SW at home. I've got this worry that he'll think they won't be up for a fight, and it'll cost us as they'll raise their game.
I've stuck a tenner on us to lose, Plymouth and Brum to win, and SW double chance at 90/1, as to me that seems a totally normal day in the madness that is this season's Championship. My bets never come off.
It should be an easy game to get them up for, it's one game, one cup final to give it their all, in our hands, just give fucking everything for one game! What is playing on my mind is that after 15-20 mins there's a chance that Brum and Plymouth could be 1-0 up, and the players will hear about it and then start to wilt under the pressure, as we know they're well capable of doing.
No chance that's 90/1? More like 19/1 surely?

It's drab, yes we create chances but it's off the back of a tired Coventry, not because we are any good.
Turned into an even bigger must win now, will Eustace have the fire within him to get these players playing? Personally I don't think so.

This needs implementing next season, perfect for the bank holiday games etc.

Did Eustace have a tenner on us losing this game? Smiling his way through the post match. Maggot.

I'll say it again, we are going to stay up because there's 3 worse teams than us. Not because we have played well enough times. Shocking

Good point, forgot about him. Is he injured?
He was on the bench so couldn't of been.

Usually a 5-0 drubbing away from home means the fans get reimbursed doesn't it? seem to recall plenty of clubs doing so, will Waggot adhere to this sort of unwritten rule? my guess is no.

Do we have anyone playing wide right? Or is Britain both a right back and attacking right sider??
-
Some seriously terrible camera work going on, angle is atrocious too.
-
Say we do get relegated unfortunately, would anyone take Mowbray back on a 1yr + optional 1 yr should he take us back up?
-
Yes the keeping was bad, but Christ Scott Wharton just didn't follow his man at all. Can't be crying in the presser about not being selected and doing absolute school boy defensive errors!!

20 minutes of Dack and Co was usually enough to see most teams off. After that we coasted. No team is going to play well for 90 minutes but we rarely played well for more than 30 minutes in 46 games. Maybe 2 or 3 games. Lots of the football on show was pretty turgid.
It's the Blackburn way of doing things, we play to the other teams standards, Newcastle and Chelsea this season we put in a solid 7/10 minimum performance.
Millwall were shit, therefore we play shit to match them.
Wrexham were woeful and so we're we but we just had an extra bit of class where it mattered.
League one was the same, remember Southend away one of the early games in the league, turgid. A mulgrew free kick to break the deadlock or a counter attack with Armstrong using his pace and Graham using his knowledge to draw a defender out of position. Other than the occasional spark of brilliance it's been turgid for 90% of the time we've been out the Barclays.

Well, having had time to sleep on it and most of the morning to think about it. It's just simply put, utter gross being served up ain't it. Has a manager ever had a 0% win record after his first 7 games in charge? Has a team ever been relegated with the leagues top scorer? Will we hear from grEgg this week? Will the fans ever become a priority? Will the players admit they pick and choose when to put a performance in?
We are being made a mockery of week in week out. The fans deserve better and I can't believe we still have 11k odd that go on, if it wasn't tradition I bet you'd be down to 5k. I fear we end up a middling League one side and it's a case of when and not if we get relegated. Next season will be a real shambles wether we go down or stay up. We know the AW money won't be spent. We know the budget will be tightened and the wages slashed.
League one would be a disaster but it's been coming, all part of the master plan perhaps by the Venkys faithful.
Truly, where do we go from here?

Is Remy in the coaches area tonight? Could've sworn I've seen him.

Good clean sheet, but Christ if they're trying to ship season tickets over the summer we need to improve our style of play. These past 3 games have been extremely dull, players seem to of lost all creativity and technical ability in the space of a week and a half.

I think he's alright. Athletic and big enough to play as a defensive WB.
Couldn't trap a bag of cement

Chrisene is seriously poor, bring an u23 lad in for the remainder of the season and send him back to Villa tomorrow.

3rd game in a row playing in that shit kit. Absolute eyesore.
Also, no creativity in that side, will be a long night.

This is absolutely awful stuff. We've looked like a Sunday league side the past 3 games at least under JDT we looked like we would threaten most league 1 sides!
