If he wasn't fit he wasn't getting into a JDT team. Your whole argument is based on a false premise.
Prove it false then.

🤣🤣 Now I will refrain.

Football vs tennis is like comparing a 5k run vs a bleep test imo. I can run a marathon comfortably but fuck the bleep test.
Actually for football it's the yo yo intermittent test, developed by Bangsbo.

Thank you to Jon (Dahl Tomasson) for helping me to improve tactically and for improving my fitness.
Dack's own words. I think you're confusing fitness with the impact of two ACL's on his pace/agility. Also missing almost 3 years of competitive football won't have helped.
Yeah that was after, wasn't it.
If you're right leg is fucked, you can still train the left and your upper body. Christ you can even structure a strength training session to evoke a cardiovascular improvement. It ain't rocket science. Maintaining fitness and muscle mass is easy with the right nutrition.
I will refrain from any further comments as clearly it upsets people.

So you can critique football on here but not their fitness. I ain't no guru but I train often and I'm in much better shape than most of our 1st team at 49. I'll leave it there.

Not really, professional football is not professional in it's approach to fitness/nutrition given the finances involved.

Football players ain't fit mate, not even close compared to other sports. I remember Dacks come back, I remember screaming it was clearly to much as I didn't think he looked fit, more enthusiasm than anything else and was calling for him to do less pitch time. No he isn't a natural athlete, but very very few people are. You don't get a athletes body by not working it, even those genetically disposed that way MUST train hard. Stiffness and soreness sums football up, recovery is the main fitness focus and that means they are not fit enough for their sport and football is not physically demanding in the grand scheme of things. 90 mins main activity is walking with intermittent bursts of high intensity activity, Christ a tennis match is more physically demanding and that's scientific fact.

Calling Girona a marquee home match is pushing it a lot,i can name 10 teams from Spain that would be worthy of calling it Marquee match but not little Girona
I'm sure we played Barcelona pre season 1 year, that was marquee

JDT currently 5th favourite for the Celtic job (10/1). Nice to have our manager actually doing a job that means he gets linked with other clubs for a change.
Only Maresca, Rodgers, Knudsen and Moyes shorter in the betting.
I can't see them going for JDT with some of the other names on the list.
Mowbray and Allardyce at 100/1.
All the links kinda make me think him or his agent are putting his name out there.

I’d guess the two crippling knee injuries got in the way of his football career more than that, mate. When I did put myself through the torture of watching the show, it was clear that football was Dacks life.
ACLs today are not as severe as they were when say Shearer had his. The reconstruction process is much better and alongside strong nutrition amazing things can be done. However Dack came back both times over weight and this would imply his nutrition was, well, shit. You are made from food, quality food means better and stronger repair. Sit on your ass, eat shit and don't work the rest of your body and we'll it goes down hill. Dack is lazy, it's obvious and whilst yes ACLs are serious, a professional approach makes a mammoth difference to an individuals recovery.

Matching tattoos apparently and all for their TV show. I kinda feel like that aspect of dacks life got in the way of his football career

I'm Scottish, I like the other side in the city so I meant ante pottygol. Big leap to spuds, no 2 horse race here so I am happy to see him join them. Mid table beckons, Kane will leave and it's a big rebuild against stronger teams and managers.

So looks like ante pottygol from Celtic is the new spuds manager, hopefully he signs Raya 👍

I also didn't know about hendry, I knew about Dr who and have heard of bill Beaumont but god onow who the others are lol.
-
I like JDT, he did alright this season but I'm not sure I would take a punt on him at a bigger club yet. I find the links etc premature as we started well, and then dropped off dramatically at the end of the season. I'm surprised Leeds etc are interested and would have thought a manager who had a promotion or more experience would be their priority.

It's the swaggering arrogance of Manure over many decades that gets me. I've seen City almost always in their shadow. So I'm glad they won.
I think City have a superb player in every position. The odd one out to me is Grealish. He doesn't fit their style. He should be at another club.
The one that truly annoys me is the we inflated prices and bought the league. 7m Fergus spunked in vain effort to beat us, hell his team even cost more than ours to assemble. Fergie etc moan cause another club came along and more than matched them, both on the pitch and with transfers. Glorious days 👍🎉

Where did you buy the elixir from? Does that shop still exist?
Do you realise Fergie Suter only plated one game for us?
Where is Jack Southworth in that team? I think he scored more goals per game than Shearer did.
I'm not really 155 years old, although it feels that way somedays lol.
I typed in the 1st rovers starting 11 to win the FA cup from wiki.
