Wouldn't say Ohashi is quick?
Yeah he’s probably average in pace but works hard

Looking at Ohashi, Kargbo, De Neve etc it appears with our limited budget we’re taking a punt on buying players with physical pace attributes rather than technical. I’ll be interested to see how this plays out output-wise as a direct comparison to Dolan who is the opposite.

Until anyone walks on a pitch in a rovers shirt, I'll trust nothing anyway.
I’d still then wait to see if we get fined for fielding an ineligible player

No player has ever confused me more than Koumetio

Koumetio seems to have found his legs, no longer absolutely abject.
Played some nice balls a bit further forward but my god he terrifies me at the back

Have we signed that monkey?
It would be a nice change from yet another donkey.
Thought I’d stumbled on the Millwall forum for a second then.

It feels like they’ve got an extra couple of players on the pitch right now. Having Hyam would’ve been ideal for this game plan.

Tronstad has played well since coming on. His playing style reminds me a lot of Barry Ferguson.

Time to get Siggy and Semir on now for them to do the job they were bought to do.

Really impressed with Sorba’s decision making this game. Has made the correct decision whether it’s trying to beat the man or play the pass. Miles ahead of what Gally can do on the right.
Going to be very tough to stay ahead this game but will keep the faith!

It would say a lot about the recruitment team to see us go for another from Mowbray's list, just like Brittain.
Is it not the recruitment teams' list?

Saying this at the risk of being shot, I like Gregg. I'd been impressed with what I saw before the transfer window and now he's admitted there has been a monumental fuck up and is taking responsibility for it. It was a shit-show, we know it, he knows it. He's clearly still learning on the job, but now he's been bitten he needs to ensure this never happens again.
That might not be a popular view point on here but I think he has a level of intelligence and communication that I haven't seen someone at Rovers have in a long time. Even though this was bad, everyone is allowed one fuck up in my eyes.

This wait smells to me like the move has been blocked and we're waiting on the result of an appeal

The fact the Brierley hasn’t been announced yet either, gives me hope this is a comms thing rather than it’s fallen through.

You have to wonder what anyone who has actual insight into what’s happening at the club on the transfer front would make of how we discuss the windows in here. We’re a chaotic bunch.
“How the fuck am I being blamed for that!?” Broughton, 19-01-23.
Probably.-
