They were awful…That Dempsey looked sharp when he came on but the rest were dog.

I'd take that Santos at cb (for a back 3) can't be slower than Mcfadz. Big unit and tough tackler. I've seen enough of Aaron collins to know he would struggle in champ.

Rest weren't up to much. Oxford were very good though i thought but could struggle next year. Would take that brannagan..

I can’t get excited with any transfer talk. We haven’t even got the magic beans anymore. It’s odds on we’ll be going into next season weaker not stronger.

Especially as GB is leaving and any transfer plans probably out the window. Can't see them getting their act together to strengthen. A lot of contracts to tie up this summer too or else lose a bunch of players for nothing again.

  3. I still think he's a couple yards off being defensively prem quality. Thought he seemed a bit in limbo between defence/attack at times, though picks up loose balls as a result and tidies up but he is strolling around at times. Made a couple good tackles in that game though. Nowhere near ready for england 1st team in my opinion but he's looking very good.. thought Olise looked great also

  4. I think we desperately need good cover for brittain and pickering (youth players if up to it..). I like the idea of pickering in a back 3. Good ball player. + 1 experienced head (ie in form hyam or mcfadz again) and carter, who now developed will be our best cb next season imo.

JRCs had a maiden season in CM and cant see him being happy lumped at rb now? Has been effective when match fit.

For me top of list is CB, creative CM (assuming travis has been humbled), winger and x2 centre forwards. Pears given til Jan with better defence in front of him.

We need a lot of good transfers to not get relegated next season..

Helik, Koroma, Buegzorg, Matos would be good signings from Hudds.

Rotherham keepers Johansson and Phillips. Maybe Odoffin could be a good addition.

I thought burzorg? Looked a proper threat, would definately take him. Some good players have gone down with birmingham too maybe the Eustace connection will help.

I registered with Foxes Talk this season because us and them were fighting for the automatic promotion places.    If you like, I can go on there and ask them to go easy on Blackburn tomorrow.       I don't think they'll be trying too hard though as they're already now promoted and (unfortunately) won the league in first place so perhaps you've caught them on a good day or time of the season to play that opposition.       They've done what they've set out to achieve.

I had a look at the league table near the bottom and really I can't see Rovers even being relegated this season.     First you'd have to lose by a significant score and for all others around you to win or all get three points.    A draw there would surely be enough to keep your team up and even with a defeat you should be safe enough.

Birmingham Plymouth and Sheffield would all have to win with three points to overtake you while you get beaten by a heavy score at the Leicester game.     I just can't see that sequence of events happening, I'm sure you'll be Ok and continue for another year in this Championship league.       Just seen one of the above replies states almost the same thing but these are my words, my thoughts and not influenced or taken from any other member/s

Can I say this week 30 years back in 1994 we needed a point away from home to survive a relegation, and who was it against, that's right Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.     In hindsight it was a memorable score as you finished runners-up that year with a great talented squad before winning the league the one after.     Other results went our way that day and we survived - at least for another twelve months.

It's getting late and fans all over the nation must be getting restless about tomorrows games with much at stake but there's no sense in losing sleep over it and worrying too much.     Blackburn will survive and continue again at second league level of another season.    Smodzics is a player you can't really be without so you stay up, then keep that player there and make it right for next time around.      You'll be OK really.

    Rhodes - Graham - Dack - Armstrong - Brereton - Szmodics

    Common denominator ?

Every one of them cost money including DG who was on Prem wages.

The line has run dry now if we do not INVEST in one or two forwards you can stick your entire savings on relegation next year. A new contract for big Sam isn't the answer and hanging the hat on Telalovic type punts or Leonard or Siggy to come up with enough is like a turkey looking forward to Christmas.

It's not happening and neither is 'oh well if more players chip in we'll be fine'

Massive summer for spin doctor Broughton and the affiable Mr Eustace.

It's incredible how lucky our hit rate has been with striker signings the last 10 years or so. Or am i forgetting all the duds (ie goodwillie). A 20+ goalscorer has come out the (albeit expensive) woodwork everytime drastically needed. A lot of clubs havnt had anything close.

  8. I agree gallagher adds a well needed physical side to the game, despite not being amazing at it.. i think we'll get more results if we play like that - JDTs fluid quick passing style with a confident defence, wing backs not being over commited and exposing us. A nice mix of long ball and playing from the back. Like a normal team
