I think alot of our players today are guilty of sloppy play, I would of also like to have seen Ennis come on for a cameo, wasn't it ennis who someone posted data about him being such an immense presser of the ball in league 1?

Should be 3 or 4 here for us, Wharton is magic Hope we don't rue these missed chances, I'd bring Ennis on for last 10

Oh aye for sure, Markandy did really well to press and win the ball and then finish his chance.

Apart from the goal I actually thought Markandy was pretty poor, bullied off the ball and first touch has let him down at times, at least he's getting back a bit to support JRC who again is having a quite game. Leonard movement has been good, could be a real breakout season for him. Tronstad starting nervy but grew into it and played some nice passes. Dolan is someone I used to like but it's clear he should just be a bit part player, he's so ineffective.

Can't see past an easy game for West Brom, we have 0 firepower, or untested firepower should I say in the form of markandy, Leonard etc, they may be missing a few players but still have the likes of jed Wallace, and if you thought pickering had a nightmare against the girona wingers, pray West brom don't start thier Brighton loan winger

If I was a West brom fan I'd be licking my lips at this fixture, we have 0 upfront, they are also in talks to sign Josh Maja but doubt he will be fit for Saturday

I'm of the opinion it was a slightly poor game from our perspective, yes Girona are a semi decent side BUT it doesn't excuse how unorganised our backline was. My thoughts: Wingers: Dolan and Markandy had opposite games, Markandy bright and worked his ass off and showed in flashes he could be really useful, where as Dolan was a headless chicken. Striker: Leonard played pretty well, I think it could be a huge season for him to be fair, I wouldn't put it past him to hit double figures just by being in the right place right time, another who works his ass off. Movement is brilliant. Midfield: Travis started really well then fizzled out, gave the ball away a couple times and a few misplaced passes but kept things ticking, Tronstad neat and tidy but nothing spectacular. I think he will be the starter alongside A. Wharton Defence: oof, pickering got rinsed today, lack of match fitness maybe but he was pulled apart, as was JRC a few times but at least JRC is a good outlet and has his best moments further up the pitch. Was shocked at how poor Hyam and Carter looked today, slow to react and normally you see hyam really command around him but he was a bit quite today. Pre season though so can forgive All in all and OK game, lack of pace and creativity will cost us, defence needs to be better too, especially the fullbacks

So ennis gets about 5 minutes? He needed minutes and should of got the 20 JDT spoke about, he won't be ready to start for a few weeks yet
