The only goals he scored int he 2nd half of the season was after 13 seconds away to Everton and against QPR away.  Newell had a very good 95/96 season and was allowed leave at the same time as Shearer.

What was the issue between Sutton and Shearer.  Sutton says Shearer didn;t like him for whatever reason.   Seems odd as at the time they looked good pals ont he pitch.

I was on the train into Blackburn from Manchester last week and noticed you cant see the stadium from the trainline anymore.  I remember being able to get a great view of the stadium from the train.

This is a tournament that just has died a death imo.

How do you watch a game on Rovers TV?  I paid the £10 to watch the Derby match tonight but got provided with no instructions or log in details as to what to do come match time.  I emailed them but go no reply.  I have a feeling I will not be watching.

I like him as a pundit and did a good job with Blackburn but he wasn't a good manager if you look at his career.  Rangers and Blackburn his only successes.

He is on record saying he dislikes the modern player and cant be arsed dealing with their shite.  He's old skool like Keane.  Little patience for players poncing about adn being a social media muppet.

I liked Gallacher as a player.  Had a very good end to the 92-93 season.  If Sutton was the superior player then why did Shearer supposedly want him dropped in favour of Newell.  If its just because they were mates then it reflects terribly on Shearer and worse Ray Harford.

Whats the story with this Hedges guy?  Mowbray said in January he was chasing him for ages and he finally got his man and has barely had a minute on the pitch.  Now in fairness what I did see of him wasn;t good but it begs the question of why on Earth was he so desperate to get him??
