Whilst Gray had a good season last yr I was surprised at his inclusion yesterday. Hopefully bert will be back and we can revert Neill back to LB. Mokena is just a waste of a shirt I really struggle to see anything he offers the team. Hope Savage is back yesterday showed how much he is missed he is the heartbeat of the team. Just ask any big club supporters !

Wasn't a lucky victory either. Chesterfield played well and at one point in the second half were hammering the West Ham goal. Bad defending especially for the second goal.

We have all followed rovers long enough to know that we are heading for defeat. WH haven't scored in almost 700mins of play neither have the argies and they haven't won since opening day and upton park is just one of those grounds.

None the less the following week we will smash the other claret and blue unbeaten start to the season.

Agree totally just seen this and think it is a wonderful transformation in view from the rovers. Too much competition locally so you already have a desirable product now price it correctly to gain optimum payback. Full stadium = increased vocal support and increased revenues in program/catering sales etc. This is a bold gamble and one which I sincerley hope pays off big time hopefully wanderers fans will also turn up.

Been hearing about the local pubs showing the games spoke to my brother last week and the lazy arse watched both the city and wigan games in the pub in Ossy. How can rovers compete with the 'walk on' fans who instead would rather pay the money behind the bar rather than travelling to the game. I suspect that 15quid still would not see him attend and thus the whole incentive could fall flat on its face due to foreign tv coverage.

Hmmm....yeah, I`ve given the new Kasabian album a few listens, & i`ve got to say it`s not jumping onto my cd player anymore. I`ll give it another listen in a week or so, just to see if it`s a 'grower'.

Must admit to being disappointed with the Kasabian effort although because I have tickets for Fri gig in Detroit I have given it a few more listens than I would have normally and it is a slight grower but not on a par with the first album.

I'll be brave enough to suggest Dinnis is not the only one to be convinced yet...not by a long way.

But lets be sensible enough to give the lad time to adjust.Who else of real quality is McCarthy partnering up front? he CANT be expected to pull us out this low on his own.

On another thread after the sheff utd game I voiced my concerns re: McCarthy. Maybe we are a little to harsh at this time we are probably expecting too much. We have been spoilt by Bellamy's 2ND half of last season displays.

Not read the full thread but I am very concerned regarding our lack of creating any goal threatening chances !! I have watched the chelsea and sheff u games on tv but McCarthy as just not been at the races he seems a lazy player doesn't look like he is up for the battle and pedersen sorry gamst I would have hauled him off when he hit is umpteenth corner at the front man - can we have pedersen back his twin brother gamst is not patch on the player we had last season !

All in all bar the ref interfering last 20mins it made for dreadful viewing. I presume the ref was as bored as the rest and decided to spice things up a bit.

If memory serves me right. My BBE season ticket for our first season in the premiership was 147 quid 7 quid a game.

Promotion season was a fiver per game on the BBE.

Its too late in a hot day for me to bother with %increase but far to say that the proper fan is being priced out of football. No wonder people go the stanley or watch on tv !!
