I've looked at him on wyscout, seems an intelligent player who links up well, improvises quite well in front of goal (sounds very dackish), capable on the ball, seems athletic and a good carrier of the ball (Rothwell), believe he has operated as a secondary striker and wide for Posh at times, so think he fits this interchangeable front 4 quite well.

I think its an excessive fee for him, if he was 23 I'd be happier paying it but there's not really any resale value in it. However, if he's been profiled as a player that we want and that's how much we value him at then I'm willing to accept it and back the signing.

Really like Szmodics as a player, think he'll be a good addition, finances involved in the deal however are questionable.

I think you're mistaking reliability as being fast rather than trusted and accurate, Rich is the only source that is right 99.9% of the time.

I see far too many people criticising Rich, he's the most generally reliable source for Rovers and always acts within the best interests of the club, rather than seeking to gain attention and clicks with gossip. I'd rather not know about a signing and it happen than find out and see the deal fall through as a result. At the end of the day he's a local sports journalist covering Blackburn Rovers, not an investigative journalist seeking to expose the Russian government. It serves nobody's best interests for him to start putting club secrets into the public eye.
