  1. Craig Dawson grew up local, started at Radcliffe Borough, out of favour at Wolves since Christmas, but excellent in both boxes, a real threat from set pieces. Beggars canโ€™t be choosers, 200+ prem games for West Ham, Wolves, WBA etc. After the disaster of deadline day, have to pay him whatever he wants to do a season for us.
  2. Taylor Gardner-Hickman is a decent player but we canโ€™t afford to loose Hyam without someone to come in who can churn out 40 games in that position.
  3. 3 goals and 3 assists in 22 games in his debut season in the top flight after an excellent season year before in the league below. Lets have it right, if heโ€™d banged a load of goals in last season as well, he wouldnโ€™t be coming here, especially with his profile of being 6 ft 3 and quick. Another gamble, but I think they can afford to do so with Yuki and Gueye in the squad
  4. We are to be fair, drags on for weeks, managed to flog 1 out of the 4 they want rid of so far.
  5. RE the BrfcPrivy account on Twitter. Its extraordinary that a senior member of a multi-million pound business sees it necessary to leak propaganda from an anonymous twitter account in a desperate attempt to generate positive PR. Its a clear reflection on the fact we are run by amateurs. The info he gets and leaks, has to either be a member of VIโ€™s staff or someone on the board. Shambolic, heads should roll.
  6. Think they are probably close to another overseas recruit, hence the sudden movement on shifting Mafoumbi, from starting the u21s game to if rumours are to be believed, released within 24/48 hours. Have to feel for him, poorly managed and probably given false promises when he signed. Hopefully his career kicks on wherever he chooses to go.
  7. I think it will be Nectar Triantis for circa 1 million to replace Travis, club to pocket the rest. FWIW similar to Miller I think heโ€™d be a smart pick up at a good age, coming off the back of a good season in Scotland.
  8. Sebastian Tounekti the random winger? Being reported in the Norwegian press. Seems another random gamble, not sure he qualifies for a WP
  9. Wrexham apparently paying 7.5 mill for Nathan Broadhead ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  10. I respectfully disagree with this. Had a great finish to last season, great going forward but thinks thereโ€™s a lot that are better than him. Seems to be injured a fair bit and average defensively. I honestly donโ€™t think we will miss him much.
  11. 3 seasons Brittain has been here - misses 15 games a season through injury, goes missing when we are up against it defensively and we are getting 3.5 million with a year left on his contract. Normal circumstances good business, but these arenโ€™t normal circumstances. Cheap or no replacement and weaker come the West Brom game.
  12. Looks like Yousef Salech on the move from Cardiff as well, fits the mould but would imagine they want a sizeable fee for him.
  13. Harvey Knibbs, apparently an unknown championship club has just had a bid accepted, could be us?
  14. Bailey from the North East, usually pretty bob on with Boro news. Presume the Brittain news and the bid for the Hibs player is 24 hours behind and the first bit of news led to the latter
  15. With all the overseas targets McLoughlin seems like a sensible recruit. Experienced at this level and regularly carries the armband for Hull. Agree with others that itโ€™s strange they are happy to let him leave in their current predicament. Unless they are cash strapped and need money to pay transfer instalments/ salaries
