For me right now I prefer Ismaël. Why? Eustace was for the here and now, yes it worked to a degree, yes you earn your luck but I felt he had some lucky wins last season. Ismaël is looking to play a more attacking style with players of a better age, Ok we've lost Dolan but we've brought in money with other sales and replaced with players with good potential ceilings. Building for the future.

Think Leonard will be 23 in December, I'm risk averse so I'd like to loan him out, but it's a concern he's hasn't played more minutes.

I'm fairly new to this platform, using quote because I don't see a reply to specific post option. V.i. is a football man he knows it's about business. He'll be getting more changes than he would have chosen, risks are higher but rewards could be too. I always feel Rovers lack pace, resilience, height and power. Batth at least gave height. Dolan and Weimann useful squad players, Brittain a decent player. Expect V.I. to want a certain profile of replacement more than worry about who leaves.

The more I look at the squad the less I understand it at present. Believe Ismaël prefers a 4 3 3, but can't see how we get a balanced front three with goals in them, let alone a second 3. Hopefully things start to make sense in the friendly games.
