Tony Parkes has left Blackburn Rovers after 35 years of loyal service. The manner in which the sacking has taken place is regretful. I'm sure that everyone connected with the Rovers are saddened by todays developments and wish Tony all the very best for his future ventures. Unfortunately football is a dog eat dog world and difficult desicions have to be made and i am positive Mark has reasons for his decision in relieving Tony Parkes from his duties. With a new regime installed over the last weeks it was inevitable that Mark Hughes wishes to bring in his own back room staff leaving no room for the old. Tony Parkes has been a loyal servant To BRFC and Rovers fans will always be grateful for what he has done but in our present perdicament we have no time to feel sentimental the club we love is rock bottom of the premiership. I want Mark Hughes to do what ever is necessary to haul us up the league table, if this means standing on a few toes so be it. Fans only remember winners not losers and it is time our great club got back to winning ways. Lets not dwell on the past but look to the future we have a young manager who will make mistakes whether that be in the media or on the pitch so lets get behind the new regime because our premiership life depends on it!!!!!!!!!! I Viewed Saturdays game as 2 points lost. Norwich are a poor woeful team and their supporters need to wake up and smell the roses they will be relegated. A team that can not beat their opposition playing with ten men at this level over 50 minutes does not deserve its place. The longer the first half went on the more rovers grip on the game tightened Bothroyd tested Green on 2 occasions in minutes with venomous shots from outside the box. I sat there feeling comfortable that the first away win of the season was in our grasp. Until in a split moment which can only be described as childishness. Bothroyd lashed out at a Norwich defender. Referee Dunn had no alternative but to send him off for violent conduct. I could not believe why a so called proffesional player as Bothroyd proffesses to be acted in this manner knowing the plight of the club. He not only disgraced himself but he let down his 10 remaining team mates and the 800 travelling fans. At this point and witnessing the Boro massacre i thought we would be lucky to escape with a point. But NO Mark Hughes has appeared to have installed abit of grit and determination into the Rovers team during his short spell as manager. They did not lay down and take another hammering. Messers Ferguson and Tugay got to grips in midfield and ran the show, Ferguson bombing on as much as he could. Dickov was his normal self being a total pain to the 2 Norwich Centre Halves. And at the point when we equalised we had taken the game to Norwich dominating not looking as if we were a man light. Dickov's goal was well deserved for his tireless work rate his goal celebration was superb they say silence is golden more like canary yellow after his bullet header. But for an idiot we would have enjoyed a long journey home with 3 points in the bag but in a sadistic way i enjoyed the battling performance. More of the same and we should be mid table come xmas and even above the team who look like bar codes read it and weep geordies. All i can say is come on Jonny Stead Your team needs you!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there at Carrow Road on Saturday and was seated right at the back of the away stand in row NN. I could not believe the small group of ###### 4 rows in front of me purposely winding not only the stewards up but also goading the Norfolk constabularly. They were asked to sit down but ignored the request and persistantly stood up annoying the stewards and police but even worse upsetting fellow Rovers fans who had paid hard earned cash to watch their team. They were all obviously worse the wear for alcohol and these mindless idiots are intent on dragging the name of our beloved team and their supporters into the gutter. If you are one of those ###### reading this please do not associate yourself with Blackburn Rovers F.C we do not want or need your support. Take yourself off to Turf Moor where you probably will be welcomed with open arms. We want good honest away fans who back the team. NOT fans intent on winding up the opposing teams stewards and local coppers for their kicks.
