  1. the general attitude by blues fans is anger but relief, they knew this has been coming for weeks blues fans have witnessed a player who gave his all for the club for over 80 games, they are sad about how savage didnt have a word to say about em when leaving, he could have thanked us for supporting him through the past 2 years, so it has saddened quite a few fans but also has left them bitter and angered Bruce never did anything wrong, he publically supported savage through his "on the field problems", ie villa headbutting incident, disciplinary record, and loud mouth comments concerning opposing teams end of the day bcfc fans havent done anything wrong, majority never slagged him off when he handed in his transfer request, they just wanted the truth, if he just said that he wanted to play for hughes and bowen then we would of accepted it but to use his family as a reason is pretty sick considering gronkjear used the same excuse when joining us back in august, savage was saying his father was ill, the day after the sun reported his father was spotted drinking in his local and that he is a regular along with picking up his morning paper every day as for the april 30th game the owners of bcfc are saying he will not be elegible to play as they want £100k for police presence cos no doubt if savage does play there will be some fans itching to get onto the pitch and give him beating I personally want him to play cos the atmosphere will be immense, I'm not worried that he could be the deciding factor in beating us come 30th april, i am worried that fans could run on the pitch and get the club into trouble, ie points and fine
  2. you have signed him so why carry on your starting to look very bitter about it let the football do the talking come april 30th
  3. beatin cardiff 2night might be a good start
  4. fs savage sign for blackburn this is starting to take the ###### you will also find in his contract that he will refuse to play reserve team football and always has to be play if fit and available, he wont settle for the bench and has to start every match
  5. i am trying to be diplomatic here u wind me up 2 much and i will be back once the savage incident goes sour and really rub it in
  6. it is about moving on really savage has done his job in establishing blues in the premiership and it is time we moved on and found a replacement with bruce he gets the best out of players with the exception of a few , who would of thought birmingham surviving 1st season in the premiership with a majority of 1st division players including robbie savage a player who was nothing than a loud mouth as birmingham have improved so has robbie savage and I can honestly say hand on heart that birmingham wont be in a relegation battle whilst bruce is at the club simply cos bruce has put that battling attitude into the players I can honestly say birmngham and blackburn are safe this season as the points tally will be a record low for safety, WBA / Norwich / Southampton will all struggle to get over 30 points this season meaning the two respective clubs in question are almost there we have made a profit on savage and he has played the best years of his career so far at birmingham, he joined the club in his prime at 27 and now is 30 and will 31 beginning of nxt season, so really birmingham should be grateful for getting £3 million and blackburn should be grateful for gettin a replacement for their expensive wantaway midfielder it will be interesting to see how blackburn adapt their tactics for savage so the game v bolton is a must see !!!
  7. he was gagged not to talk to the media until the transfer speculation was resolved this is perhaps the final sign conceirng the transfer probably agreed fees and has passed a medical, you are trying to rush the deal so he can play v bolton nxt week
  8. sounds like robbie savage and birmingham no seriously player power has taken over football, all about mney and agents 10 years ago players didnt want to leave clubs they were forced to leave, nowadays it is the other way round i think the majority of the problems lie with agents, they get offers which include massive fees and they just brain wash players into moving
  9. brilliant cya sav have fun with bowen and hughes 3.2 million for a player who is 31 in 6 months time is good business thank you blackburn for holding on and paying us decent money for him frees up 30k a week to bring in a midfielder who can actually pass the ball forward
  10. lol villa villa villa i cant think of loads that u have paid off cos your previous managers are crap, even your new manager is bringing in unknown players with no premiership experience u just dont learn do you
  11. you are so predantic it is untrue no point me hanging arund on these boards as you all seem to be on ego trips cya we aint talking about bruce we are talking about savage so why the hell do u keep brining it up your club has never done anything wrong ? except 95% of your matchday staff is asians talk about racism, isnt the joob good enough for white ppl in blackburn
  12. badly run club ? we are the club making yearly profits of over £5 million after tax wonder how much debt your is club is in considering you cant fill the grounds for 85% of the games and u have being paying players stupid money who simply dont perform, you have more foreigners in your reserves earning 30k per week who dont wanna play for you than aston villa and to round it all off you been messing birmingham about for the past 3 weeks with 3 different bids you could have quite simply come in beginnning of january and offered £3 million, the club publically stated that was his valuation considering the long term contract but you messed us about as did savage nothing to do with the owners of birmingham city, nothing to do us wanting to keep him, ofcourse we want to keep him but you have only just met the valuation of player after your 3rd bid savage knew how much blackburn needed to pay birmingham for his services, the owners of birmingham city knew as did your owners but you were messing arund with installments over five years, what financial sense does it make paying for a player after he has retired you really think our owners are gonna let a player leave for an initial down playment of £500k when it prob cost £500k for savage to sign the new contract in terms of agent fees and singing on fees you offer us £3 million you can have him or £2.5 million + the rest in installments he is yours simple as that now stop being a bunch of bitchin little school girls and get over it,
  13. yeh the same one that cost us £1.25 million when he was 27
  14. if you are such a big club why are you going after a 30 yr old robbie savage surely big spending blackburn should bring in someone better
  15. i cant believe how much u lot hate bruce his son plays for your club let the football do the talking and i cant wait to play u lot in the coming months as for yorke he cost £250k, really is pocket money for our owners who are worth around £350 million each
  16. difference is yorke cost us FA and is only on a 1yr contract how can u judge mark hughes when he has been at the club a matter of months look at the goal difference in the premiership, -12, you are struggling with goals, sign of a relegation battle
  17. I been to blackburn 2x over the last 2 seasons to watch my team play initially i thought you had a nice ground and pleasant but quite fans on the pitch the only player that stood out for me was david dunn and duff who have both left your club the only decent game i have seen from you lot was back last season when dugarry got sent off and andy cole came on and ripped us apart, but then i remember us beating u 4-0 in the cup 3 weeks later David Dunn got your team promoted into the premiership 2x yet you seem to think he is not a good midfielder, how fickle you fans are
  18. Firstly he isnt being paid as he refuses to play for the club secondly "all Sparky had to do was make it known that he had "virtually given up on signing Savage" and it brought you scampering back to the table. The fact is we've played City like a fiddle from the start; it's a bit late to start trying to save face now. " slight difference as your club is stumping up the £ 3 million for savage in one big sum, nothing to do with blackburn dictating negotiations, if i remember u only offered us £500k plus the rest in installments over 5 yrs, and finally you make out as if he is a world class player when he aint, just a 30 yr old who is coming to the end of his career, you dont see any other clubs coming in for him even though he has handed in a transfer request remember andy cole & dwight yorke both aging world class players who were being paid silly money each week, this reminds me of savage, cos your geting him on a 4yr contract worth £30k a week, imagine ferguson and savage playing in the centre of midfield, both arguebly plaing for the worst international countries this side of the world, what a combination !!! like i said no bluenoses want him back and we really want him to leave now as there is better midfielders in this country who can actually pass the ball forward instead of backwards and not have to run around a pitch like a headless chicken to control the midfield I really hope you sign him cos if you struggling to score goals now then you aint seen anything yet
  19. if you listened to me in the first place i would of told u he wont sign 2day what is it with your blackburn fans, you dont decide when he signs for you we do !!!!! diao is cover, amdy faye is the player we are after to replace savage and the £150k valuation is BS, if it was down to that you would of offered it already like i said bruce wont let him go until we find a suitable replacement, it isnt down to money it is down to the transfer window and the size of squad for the nxt 4 months
  20. he isnt sigining for blackburn until bruce has a replacement lined up and signed so expect something to happen around late tuesday / wednesday / Thursday no point selling one of our best midfielders then left short for cover and only have a few weeks to find a replacement so it makes sense bringing in the replacement before selling savage but dont worry u will get him because 2 much crap has gone on for any U-turns
  21. cya no point hanging around look forward to seeing u at st andys in a few weeks time hope savage will be playing cos it will be a brilliant atmosphere
  22. i think we can all agree their is no loyalty in football and it is all about money Dwight yorke grrr the lad is working for villa on the sly , he has come to send us down, I hate him !!! as does 90% of the fans, lazy filth "gotchya....arsenal and man are @#/? because chelsea are good....gotchya " their last decent achievement wasnt the 1st season of the premiership all i remember about blackburn in europe is being knocked out by part time teams and watching batty punch lesaux I can think we can all agree we can make this thread really bitchy but thats not the point is it !!! as with the tapped up comment our owners have publically stated that savage told em that the clubs were making unoffical approaches without even bidding for the player, like i said before there is no loyalty in the game, you offer a player £10k more a week he will jump ship
  23. fair comment i think bruce rushed the yorke deal cos he knew forssell had a serious knee injury problem and couldnt wait until he knew for sure he would be out for the season, we had the same problem last season with dugarry which ended his top flight career and we struggled with players to link up with forssell also we sold stern john, the 2nd laziest striker alongside yorke so we only had 2 strikers in heskey and morrison tip : tune into sky sports news at 9.15 pm 2night for the yorke interview ) ps I would watch the last few games darren carter has played, he has suprised everyone at the club with how well he has developed at sunderland and made the step up, this lad will play for england in the nxt few yrs if he keeps improving
  24. i thought it was brave to come on here and express my views but now i think it was more foolish american: the next two games will be interesting roveryoyo: DJ was the buy of decade for us, cheap as chips and is accomplished in the premiership, Kenna : he was the captain and scored some vital goals and held the line brilliantly alongside kenny Dunnie : hardly a cast off, i remember your boards getting very bitter about his transfer, if he wasnt so injury prone then he would be in the england squad
