  1. hahaha Davies what a joke. He was so lazy, another player that used us as a meal ticket.

Does anyone remember Per Pedersen? he was an advised buy from Sven Goran, this was at the time when we were gonna get him as a manager. He was bought on the basis that he netted over 50 goals in one season.....in sweden. Doesnt take a mastermind to work out that, that scenario doesnt always work in the premiership.

Roy hodgson was a poor manager... just wondering...where is he now?

  2. Monday is a big day for me...the release of British Sea Power's new album; Open Season. They've been my favourite band since I saw them on a small stage at Leeds festival a few years ago (the strange picture in my sig is them) and, from what I've heard of the new album, it should be great.

Slightly annoyed that it seems the media are starting to pick up on them (Mirror has it as album of the week), probably means I'll have to deal with weenie bandwagon jumping kids at future gigs...but I guess BSP deserve the credit.

Yeah i've heard good things about them. Not just from the press.

Could you describe them abit? what kind of stuff do they sound like?

  3. That weekend will truely be on the of the best weekends ever. With FA Cup semi-final on saturday and then getting to see the Bloc Party on sunday 17th.

I am doubtful over a place in the final but who cares. We're in it for the ride are we not?

  4. Im listening to QOTSA's new album. Definatly a return to their older sound before Oliveri joined.

Erm....did Homme do some demos without him or something? huh.gif Because he's played on all of their previous albums.

Oliveri officially joined QOTSA around the time of the 2nd full album 'Rated R'. He is credited as doing some stuff on the debut album but i dont think it was full time. I was thinking it reminded me abit more of Josh's band (other than Kyuss) pre-QOTSA 'Gamma Ray' really.

I like the new album though i love the more electronic elements

I'm loving 'The Bravery' at the moment aswell. Pretty commercial i know but i love the song they keep playing on Channel 4's 'No Angels'. The albums pretty good though.
