  1. whats wrong with 3 o'clock on the saturday and sunday?
  2. I remember another team from London doing that against us a few seasons ago
  3. at home they are quite good Gav
  4. I tell you what - write us off everyone - do it go on - all the pressure's taken off us and put on Arsenal - they must win they're the favorites - we have no hope our players go out with no fear, and all the articles calling us cludgers/bullies/boring/dull/no hopers pinned on the dressing room wall. anyone remember what happened last time we were written off before a trip to the millenium stadium? (Please don't use that word again) em lets go and show how proper fans enjoy the Fa cup.
  5. How they can just go straight along the M4 - you on the other hand have to do M6/M5 and then either the M4 or go down the M50. Also look what I got back from the FA Dear Supporter, Many thanks for contacting The Football Association. We appreciate there are arguments for and against any venue we use for the semi-finals in terms of capacity, accessibility, neutrality and location. Over the last few years the decision on semi-final venues has consistently attracted criticism, even though these are the ones now being touted in many of your e-mails as the preferred venues (Villa Park and Old Trafford) Travel time to and from games has been a major cause of complaint for both these venues so it is not something that is exclusive to the Millennium Stadium. We based our decision on the following; -With a capacity of 74,525, it is significantly larger than both Villa Park (42,602) and Old Trafford (68,210) which have hosted the Semi-Finals in recent years. -The Millennium Stadium and Cardiff's ability to stage games of this size. Cardiff has also proved to be a very popular venue for fans in the past -Revenue generated due to the fact that at least 30,000 extra fans will be able to attend these games. It's an unavoidable fact that as the major funding body in football we have a responsibility to the long term future of the game, this future needs funding. What should be highlighted is that The FA is a not for profit organisation and has invested over £150 million in grass roots football over the last three years. We appreciate that like the Millennium Stadium, there are arguments for any of the venues mentioned in the e-mails fans have sent through. Nevertheless, the decisions on venues always attract criticism from certain quarters as it's impossible to pick a venue that perfectly matches the needs of the various stakeholders in an FA Cup Semi-Final. We fully appreciate your comments and your concerns and these will be circulated to the relevant decision makers in this organisation. Thank you for taking the time to write. Yours sincerely, Jonathan Arana Senior Customer Relations Manager The FA Look familiar - me thinks someone's produced a form letter
  6. Try Bristol Also - after reading Philip Cornwall's article I cant do anything but agree with it.
  7. well cant see us beating the Arsenal - which is great - I like it when we're written off - no pressure on our players everything heaped on Arsenal
  8. coz sure as hell Freddie wont miss a sitter like that twice
  9. Excellent Cheers We won last time that we played a cup game in the Millenium Stadium and I was there. Maybe we should run a vote Would you go to Cardiff Should Flopsy go to Cardiff Will Flopsy get home before Monday if a Sunday game? Is there going to be fighting in the streets of Cardiff Saturday night? How many "Fans" will crawl out of the woodwork not to be seen until the next game at the Millenium Stadium (in May). If YOU Dont go american and we lose - maybe its your fault
  10. lets settle it by tiddlywinks
  11. or D'Urso. I wouldnt mind Clattenberg
  12. LAst time we played Arsenal in the Semi's of the FA cup we won - Was in 1923 but Im sure Jim can tell us about it
  13. Bunch of Cluggers Alledgedly the Guardian collumnist doesnt like us - I have emailed him asking whether he eats bananas with his feet. I suggest you lot dont
  14. Got arsenal on the saturday
  15. To be fair to the FA they replied promptly after I'd moaned at them about Urinal's booking of Neill in teh Worthy semi at OT. Politely told me to bugger off but at least they replied. Captain - whats the address pls Im going to copy and paste your message with a few alterations
  16. most northern most team gets the north end i belive. Anyroad Dooomed I tells you Doomed. Why? Coz Im going. That is if the admins actually honour the promise they made keeping me away from the LEicester game. Also - I might need two tickets as my mate Dave should be back from Iraq by then.
  17. Oh god - we're doomed what ever happens
  18. Im staying at friends house in Bristol on the Saturday - So night out Saturday whatever - however match on Saturday would be a lot bloody easier than trying to escape from Wales on a Sunday night
  19. Taken from The times' match report I like the last line
  20. More like the Black Knight from Teh Holy Grail "Its nowt but a scratch"
  21. I thought once we went 442 we suddenly looked threatening - and for once Emerton did his job getting to the byeline and putting good balls in. As for the Penalty well im sorry, defender goes in takes out MGP, who stays on his feet and tries to get to the ball - looked like the defender tried to pull him down. Tough titty Levine - Ive spoken to some guys at ork and said that Rovers deserved to win, and that it was a penalty, although the pull back on neill should have been one too
  22. as we won again today should I actually go to the semi???
  23. to be honnest we should have got a pen when Lucas was dragged back in the box Or the ref should have let us play on when MGP scored we're in the semis lets get to the final
