  1. maybe not, but if some of them don't start to show the quality that will enable them to step up, then it's a complete waste of time. At the moment I don't see one player in the U21 who could comfortably step up.

I don't see that as a reason not to care about them possibly winning a trophy. They are wearing the famous blue'n'white.

  2. I'm not a fan but " Purple Rain " was good. He did a couple more that I thought were good but I can't remember so early in the day, " 1999 "was one, can't think of the other.

    Little Red Corvette?

If he ends with Purple Rain and lets rip with his guitar solo's, it can last 20 minutes, brilliant.

I've no gigs lined up until December

  3. Pretty much certain he'll be gone.

Contract up and gagging to go home,

It was obvious after last nights game that he thought that would be his last Ewood appearance. He really took his time leaving the pitch, almost the last player off. He went to all four stands and applauded which is something he doesn't usually do.

As a side note, how bad is our pitch, I can't remember so many bobbles and uneven bounces of the ball. It needs some serious money spending on it this summer.

  4. A candidate for MOM tonight for me.

I thought there were five or six candidates for MoM.

What a difference putting that extra bit of effort makes. Not only does it give the team a better chance but it also lifts the crowd.

I think we can put up with a lack of skill but not lack of effort.

Well done GB for getting that performance out of the players, a bit of pride was restored to the shirt.
