  1. It's a great album, i've been listening to it at work today, i'm going to see if I can get their other album tommorrow.

Which one have you got CR? Happenstance (sp) or another one? My kind of thing?

  2. Being drunk and falling asleep at a radiohead concert is probably a blessing in disguise.

In other music news, Busted have complained that being labelled a boy band is offensive.   Much like their music.

God, isn't that right. They are shee-ite, and pretentious shee-ite at that.

    How are they pretentious, exactly?

  3. Absolution is great, but just not the classic album they're capable of. 'Sing For Absolution' is a very powerful song, as is 'Butterflies And Hurricanes' (though, in a completely OTT fashion, NME said it was the most powerful song ever written or some other such garbage). TSP and Time Is Running Out are also standouts. The SmallPrint has come a long way since they played it a few years ago on the live circuit, but it still sounds very nice.

Speaking of Muse I got three cds of B-sides/Unreleased/Live tracks off E-bay. £27. Absolute bargain if you're a Muse fan. 59 songs, most of which are very listenable. Obviously you'll have heard some of them if you have the singles and 'The Hullabaloo Soundtrack' but its well worth it IMO.

  4. I'd defend him because of his record with us. And I'd feel completely justified. Promotion, Worthington Cup. Sixth place and very nearly a second Cardiff visit. And people want to judge him over the first 11 games without Duff? Insane.
  5. Not heard the new album. Hybrid Theory 1.5 was a terrible attempt at a cash-in though. I can't believe how many people paid money to hear remixes of their old songs with text-message names!  :withstupid:
  6. I've got Hail To The Theif. Can't say its fantastic at all, but then I'm not a fan of Radiohead anyway.

It's usually Muse all the way on my stereo, but they've been raplced as of late by the superb "Something To Write Home About" by The Get Up Kids.

  7. AS so cole yorke and jansen arecrap yea? your one of the 'supporters' who lick there lips when wesign big names, not cos they might just do well, but cos you can slag em off, 'not giving there all for rovers' ect... whos the guy whos got the 'form is temporary class is perniment' signature, cos thats very true... who adopted you anyway?? ???

Where did he say they were crap?

  8. The comments on Dunn and Cole are spot on. I think this comfortably cements itself as the second best post of the year, behind the We Will Fight Them On The Beaches one before the Celtic game.

Dunn is beliving his own press. One substitute appearence for England - congratulations. He can't tackle, his passing is wayward, and his head drops when our backs are against the wall. Stand up and be counted or we'll pack you off to Chelsea for a ridiculous sum of money.

Cole has done nothing for me this season as well. Its all very well talking of injuries, but when your only goals are as a result of poor goalkeeping from an ageing has-been and a last minute "poachers goal" against Southampton then something's wrong. GS broke the bank for him. He did the business last season, but then he had an England place to play for. If you're not motivated to play for us now without adding to your selection of caps then stand aside and let Egil work his b*llocks off for us like a proper striker.

Wow, you've inspired the aggresive side in me Tris. Good stuff  :tu:
