I'm not slagging MGP off. I just feel that maybe he lacks certain skills that Rovers need, such as a player who can pass from open play and skin a defender. Andy Reid in my option has much more promise than MGP. People say that he is second rate as he cant get in the spurs side, yet Keane only managed to break into it just before Xmas. Why is Andy Reid such a bad suggestion???? And how does MGP offer more than Reid??? Is there anything wrong with wanting more, I dont think, so! At the end of the day I just want the best for Rovers, so I hope I am wrong in my views, But I'm not!

Are you really comparing Reid, someone who has done basically nothing at domestic or international level, to Gascgoine?

They dont just buy the best team, but they buy any competition as well. For example Robben, Duff, J. Cole, S.W.P. They make me sick. Shame on all to do with that awful club. Cant wait till they come to Ewood. Roar!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got to say I'd probably prefer playing Peter next season over accepting a part deal involving Reid. 

If we fail to qualify for Europe, I think that selling MGP could be a good move in that it would give us anice bit of cash to put towards new players.

Andy Reid can also play centre midfield (much better player). I would love for us to sign him. His left foot is one out the best (from play and dead ball) and he can see the play as well. A bit of a belly, but sure look at Gascoine.

The 1.5m figure was me just getting carried away be bit! SORRY. I cant understand how players get worn out as the season ends. Was the squad not just in Qutar recently during a break period? The players only train a couple of hours a day, earn bags of money and have life styles of kings! Easy life. Lampard does not have this problem and his work rate is twice that of MGP. This is making excuses!

The problem with Chelsea is the way they play the game. Utd and more so Arsenal played entraining ball when they were on top. Chelsea score goals have great players, yet are boring to watch! Simple as that! Not sure if Liverppol are far behind Chelsea in this field. Is winning titles more important than entraining the public? I know which one I would choose.

A few month ago alot of people where expecting ManU to try and sign MGP in the summer. I was thinking finally we have a replament for Duff and we wont sell easy. Now I would bite any clubs hands off if they came with 1.5m for him. Does Peter's rise spell the end of MGP or does he have somthing still to offer?

Bckham received critisim for not having the ablity to beat the defender, same with MGP. However MGP cant pass from open play, does not have the work rate anyway near any other player in the team. What is the point! He is one of our few flair players, but has little flair. Ok he scored a lot of goals before Bellers est himself but is that enough?

The former Leeds full back Ian Harte would be better in our team at the moment, as we cant defend (so he will fit right in) and Peter can play left wing, with Harte taking the dead balls.

This win will all but send them down, very sweet. Control the midfield which should be easy looking at Brums. Butt vrs Reid only one winner there. Cunningham good defender knows his postioning well, but if we can pull him out of postion he will never get back. (Just like Short when he played for us a couple of seasons ago.) If it end up a battle of the Donkeys (Heskey vrs Kuqi) I think home advantage will prevaile.
