Why did we sell him in Jan when we had no midfield options for a lower price.

Also has any given any confirmation on a sell on clause?

To pay the bills. I was told at Hillsborough that this was the case. When this £20m runs out, we’ll sell another £20m player.

Funnily enough i was debating with someone about all the going on and we did comment it's almost as if this has been on the cards for a while. The Sweden thing has been in the background a good while in regards to JDT although he didn't appear to be a front runner but quite possibly the contract/compen thing was the reason way before things came to a head here.

Waggots words about him being ambitious and we might not keep up with him in the famous bus interview now make sense i think there were expecting an approach and knew he'd be off first chance if it came.  It was odd he'd say stuff like that but in reality it was a warning what to expect.

JDTs demeanour and comments looked very much that of a man being held where he didn't want to be for a good while. The speed in which Rovers reacted to this is record breaking for Venkys it's almost normal so yes it's been in the pipeline it was just a matter of when not if.

Someone pointed out this afternoon that our season tailed off in Nov/Dec when the Sweden job became available. Hindsight or coincidence, I don’t know but supporters are joining dots up, rightly or wrongly. Hedges appearance from nowhere got people nattering too.

To be absolutely clear I had no idea what the meeting was about or who was attending other than knowing Waggott had called it. I didn’t know five players would be there. There was a moment when I said to @Herbie6590 I might be going down for a telling off… I even said we might be getting sued here. There was zero agenda or format.

I think it was called by Waggott as a ‘deflection’ due to calling out SW and VH (Rao’s) recently.

We are talking about a fan meeting/leaked cctv and a management change, when we should still be angry at the mess at board level/ownership that is going on.
    He’s a fraud.

We are being run into the ground. We have an opportunity with JDT to move forward, but he doesn’t have the correct support.

To clarify, after the first goal conceded yesterday, a host of people around me in the Blackburn End gave JDT grief. Blaming ‘tippy tippy’ football, ‘go more direct’, ‘time to go’, etc.

It got me thinking that if another manager came in, the present board would still hinder them. I want JDT to stay because I feel with the right structure he will succeed. However, with VH not budging, maybe a change at board level, with a more dynamic and positive approach, would mid term help.

I am a member of the Trust, and appreciate the time and effort that you put in.

  5. I don’t know if this has been raised before , but after speaking to a fellow Rover yesterday at Watford, Waggott doesn’t come out well regarding his part of the Andy Cole transfer from Bristol City to Newcastle United. It’s documented in Andrew Cole’s autobiography.

    Are you going ?

    'Yeah'

    How you getting there ?

    'On the coach from Ewood'

🤣 got to love our lot 🤣

No trains, and minibuses not wanting to get their windows out through.

How else are we getting there? I’ll be happy to get off at Burnley Barracks and see what they’ve got.

I think we can all safely say Rothwell is NOT going to Bournemouth as a Premier League player, his performances have been nothing short of shite and Bournemouth will have seen this and they will also require far better players. It’s very much the same with Nyambe, at times he is a good defender however yesterday he was shite at defending, shite at passing and utter shite at getting forward!

Now we are reading Mowbray is off to WBA and taking our 3 contract rebels with him! Maybe a good chance of Lenihan going to a club like WBA however they won’t be signing Mowbray whilst Bruce is there. Nyambe might go there but he won’t get the massive money he craves and indeed there are much better players at the club at right back.

Dack to wba with Mowbray? Someone’s had a little too much to drink!😂😂

Only posting on a message board what I heard.
