  1. first off....well done lads....lets get stuck into this league again.....and go inter-steller champions league......

    ok....a question......

ive not seen nonda in the flesh.....but how fast is he? i was asking a mate of mine who is a west brom fan about roberts and he said he is pretty fast but just runs in straight lines.......

so yeah what im askin is who is our fastest current player....or stronegst runner or whatever.....u know what i mean!!!

    Also.....BENNI BENNI BENNI B)

  2. He's not bloody good enough for God's sake! Gally is no way Prem quality and is a bit part player like Douglas, Stead and Tiny that we need to replace. Surely this must even be obvious to his bloody mother ffs!

I rem loads of people defending those other 3 (God only knows why! :wstu: ) and saying that they haven't had a chance at Ewood.... well now they have moved on and they have now been proven crap beyond doubt but still we have a shed load of numpties choosing misplaced sentimentality over clear thought!

Is there something difficult in simply basing opinion on the evidence of ones own eyes?

i think that its true that both stead and gallagher arent premiership quality....its just strange, coz i remember how excited i was when those two combined so beautifully for the winner against united at ewood a few years back....and thinking that we had a real pair for the future......funny how things change so fast in football these days.

  3. i think im abit behind on this story...i heard some talk about dunny comin home....is this all said and done now or what??

i for one would be happy to see him back....its was a shame how it all came about that he left in the first place.

if he wants it (football that is)....and he keeps his head on.......well, weve all seen what the lad can do!!!

  4. I quite fancy Portugal (Braga) myself, never been there before, looks nice, and locals seem friendly too!

Belgium wouldnt be too bad though - I just dont fancy a trip to Tel-Aviv

portugal is well nice.....my aunt and cousin live there.....the one strange thing i saw was the packs of dogs and the noise they make at night.....they dont like cats too...they all looked pretty mangy and f*cked up........on the football front....not sure how good there club sides are...well the ones thatll be in uefa cup....unless one of their champions league flops are in!

  5. Match report

Blackburn have done well to advance. But the fans do not seem to share their enthusiasm for the competition - and the team could attract a crowd of only 12,568 to Ewood Park for this final group game.

football365.......hmmm......what a strange thing to put in a match report.....our attendences are well documented, this reporter must have been bored by the game then......

4 confirmed tonight of the 8 teams that will go into our pot for the next round......

    Feyenoord

    H. Tel Aviv

    Zulte -Waregem

    Fenerbahce

by the way....who the hell are zulte waregem.....the sound portuguese?

  6. David McGoldrick, Southampton's striker who is considered their 'next big thing' came on trial at Rovers and I believe that he turned down Rovers (rather than Rovers rejecting him) in favour of Southampton. If I'm not mistaken, he went for Southampton because he believed that he was more likely to get first team opportunities.

yeah but that could be coz were prem ;)

  7. my first ever experience of football was standing in the nuttall street stand (i was 9) and seeing simon garner hit a shot in the last minute against portvale (89 i think).......but i didnt see if the shot went in....well, i mean, i know it did.....coz everybody stood up and i could see sh*t....fantastic....every one cheering my dad waving his arms in the air............oooohhhhh........memories ill never forget till the day i die.......i used to love it....we used to go stay with my grandad and grandma.....go and drink sasparella.....get a pie....walk round town....go back to my grandparents...and walk down from pritchard street, from the back down the grass behind the river side......i did enjoy going to to the 'new' ewood, i was a teenager and excitable.....but looking back i feel privelaged to have experienced football as its meant to be.......but lets not slag off the new ground too much......for jacks sake!!!!.......we may well be playing div 2 football now...........so maybe its better this way....we play european football this week...so....u know what im getting at!!!
