Whilst I don't think there is any need to seriously consider a change of direction yet, I would not be of the same opinion if performances and results hadn't improved in 6-8 weeks time.
In six to eight weeks we could be marooned at the bottom and it will be too late for a change of direction. Clubs stuck at the bottom in December tend to stay there.
Maybe I'm wrong and Souness will lead us out of trouble but I've got a feeling he will not. The team looks a mess tactically, confused and woefully lacking in confidence.
You still haven't named a better available manager

Can't believe this thread is still going!

now now Gav/Chaps.
Was gonna say!
'F**K off back under the stone you crawled from' and 'oh ####-for-brains?' aren't deemed offensive to a board member

Bravo two Zero by Andy McNab
A book that gets better with every read

Frank Skinner - Frank Skinner
Superb read, i had it for Australia and got 3 quaters of the way through during the journey to Australia and finished it on the way back.

to the tune of who let the dogs out
we could sing, who knocked the manc's out
*Ouch*
Talk about tempting fate...

You've seen nothing yet.
10000 or so fans who come to Blackburn will sing from first to last minute.
Sing from first minute to last minute? Like last night?
I'm sure i remember hearing the Rovers boys sing
Can you hear the Celtic sing, noo nooo
Roll on Sunday when we pick up 3 points against the scum of the midlands.

Dont be bitter be so very proud that we have a GREAT team to support. We were absolutely fantastic from start to finish apart from the crucial moment .I`ve said all week that man-for-man we are the better side.Yorke was different class and Thompson was man of the match.Iam just so pleased the nation could see what we see each week. How many teams go to Celtic and outplay the Hoops?Im not bothered if we go through or not I am just so proud that I have seen my team that I have watched since 1955 give a performance like that.Souness you are a great manager.
*claps*
Fair point to make. We did very well and played great against a 'giant' in Scotland.

I'm having the same feeling deft.
My dad was sitting here with me saying 'Don't worry, if Celtic score it'll be lucky. Blackburn have got this'
*sigh*
I don't wanna go to work tomorrow. Even though i kept my mouth shut all day i still don't want to face them sodding villa fans.

Oh god, living in the midlands i love mocking the Villa fans.
The last thing i need now is a tired Blackburn to loose to Villa.

Yeah be bitter, but it wont change the result.
You know what the headlines will say
'CELTIC WIN BATTLE OF BRITAIN'
ARRRGGGGHHH!!!

I don't know what to say.
I'm still getting over the terrible defending during that corner. Surely Tiny should have got a head to the corner in the first place! If not, who was marking Larrson!?
I thought Yorke was a little dodgy first half but second half he was fantastic. Tugay a little shakey at the start. Duffer, not up to much. Thompson, this lad just gets better and better. Flitty, did the job neeeded. Cole, didn't think he changed the game for us at all. Had a nice little bit of work-up play with Yorke but that was it. Yorke seemed to be doing all the work. Maybe it was a Jansen style of play?
Totally agree with T4E, Celtic come down to England and hammer English teams during pre-season saying they should join the Premiership.
Tonight they looked like a Division 2 side just battling and hoping for a draw to take back to the home leg. Only problem was, they were at home!
Anyway, i'm not going to be bitter, fair play to Celtic. They scored off a corner and got the goal advantage. Congrats.
Roll on the 2nd leg where SURELY we'll get goals.

Souness must go ?

Drop Tugay, the man who 2 games ago got man of the match and ruled the centre of midfield?
Drop Flitcroft...oh no wait we can't, he's the captain and might have a paddy.
