Wow! That shows how memory is a tricky thing. I would never have guessed in a million years that three of our four most frequent subs were Dunn, Jansen and Tugay; three players mythologised as being undroppable geniuses.

Longevity is obviously key with Tugay and Dunn, especially with them being used less from the start before retirement. Jansen had his comeback struggles but even in the 2000/01 promotion season he had 12 sub apps (9 league) which is a surprising chunk!

Some hopefully interesting stats in the article below about sub appearances for Rovers now that the season is complete, including which player holds the record for the most in club history. Grateful for any comments, queries or corrections ready for the next iteration...
