Just to get you all in the mood for Dark Knight.
One of the finest fan films of all time.

I thought this was a nightmare I used to have as a child.... until I saw it again today.
-
Watched "Fools Gold" last night, it may have been due to drink, but I thought it was ok.
-
Having already watched it on 'tinternet I went to see The Mist on the big screen last night. Fantastic film and in fact a lot darker than the book in many ways.
To say the least!! Stephen King pulled a right twist to his short story on that one.
Worth watching.

Has anyone seen "The Happening" yet?
I want to go and see it and at the same time I am afraid that it is complete and utter rot.
-
The 'Lions ale Double Stout' stand is of course where the Riverside stand was soon to be built.
Have to love the players running around with belts on.
-
Nah-nowt against Hughes of course, but we're too far down this road now. In the end, we were 3 points shy of a Euro spot this season, so a win at Brum on the last day looks like the straw that broke the camels back IMO. If we had got that spot, I reckon MH would have stuck to his original guns of knocking City back like last round. Thin line this game...I blame Brad!
Quite understandable that he can not remain here, I just hope that he gets a warm round of applause when he returns instead of a round of boo's

I'm not really a big fan but I'm sort of looking forward to this.
It looks good I saw the trailer today before Cloverfield. Nice to see if the first Enterprise will be as interesting as the others.
Cloverfield was meh in my opinion, If I hadnt have been sitting there thinking I was watching The Blair Witch Project I think I would have liked it better. Nice parts with the M1A1's though.
-
I overcame 31, some slight untruths in there though
I could own 24, I was disapointed that there was no eating of said children questions however.
-
the trailers for John Rambo, look really good.
The IMDB reviews appear to suggest that Cloverleaf is The Blair Witch Project with Monsters
It is true that it is filmed from a hand held camera pov.

Okay does anyone think this was what Lucas was thinking when he wrote the script?
-
Looks like King Kong bummed Godzilla - but I'm not complaining.
This year will be awesome at the flicks. Indy, Batman, Cloverfield, Rambo, Potter, Bond, Narnia to name just a few.
Yes I myself can not wait to see Rambo running around with his zimmer frame.
-
So you found out what the beasty looks like. I just wonder if it breaths fire, seems a Godzilla rip off to me, but the piros will have me drooling like a slack jawed yokel.

Hand gun? bowlox... I mean a 12 bore shotgun!
Vermin probs in the past and I just used to borrow one. Now borrowing a shotgun for a day or two to exterminate damaging vermin is considered on a par with hijacking planes and flying em into buildings, 1st degree murder and driving at 35mph.
Shotgun!! You sissy! What you need is a MG42, Prairie Dogs don't stand a chance, its like shooting Prairie Dogs........ in a prairie.
The largest overkill I have ever seen though was just outside of Fallujah some of the boys from the 1st Marine Division, 1st Tank Battalion noticed a dog (some ugly flea ridden mix bread) running up to them with a satchel strapped to its back, a main gun round from a M1A1 Abrams 120 mm smooth-bore cannon doesn't even leave blood behind.
-
This looks absolutely fantastic. The early word is that Day-Lewis could walk away with the lead actor Oscar.
I agree but I fear it will be too in depth and dialog filled to do well in the box office. Seems, especially here, if there are no explosions or hot women its crap. I had to drive 62 bloody miles to watch the Queen and 45 to see Sweeny Todd!
-
Very much. It could be great.
The producer and Director is from Lost isnt he?
-
Is anyone out there wanting to see this, I am still yet to find someone to be excited about this even though the huge viral campaign.
-
Can't say I now exactly what you're after but you may want to keep an eye out for Empire: Total War, which looks highly promising.
That game does look great, I have been a fan of those types for awhile. The game style I was talking about was like Close Combat in a Napolionic era, you are in control of historic regiments.
-
I know this genre may be droll to some of you but, do any of you remember the game engine that Sid Meyer made for Gettysburg and was later used on Waterloo Napoleons Final Battle? Is there any games like that coming out soon or are already out?
-
Because it is closeish to that time.
The part in the lift is the best.

The title of this thread is now a bit misleading. No-one is calling for Hughes Out or questioning what an outstanding job he has done since he arrived. Some people are asking why we've gone from playing like outside bets for the top 4 to playing like stiffs in the space of 7 weeks. Hughes has to shoulder a lot of the responsibility for that.
Yes he has been thrown some curve balls of late but I am sure we are all in agreement that he will fix this all up. Hopefull that he will have some cash now and fix our midfield and then on to better things.
