He's got some sort of problem with Tomori. He's been left out in a way that I have never seen a player who has won top division titles and reached Champions League knock outs regularly. Must be something like what happened with Ben White?
Defence is our weakest area and that we are deliberately leaving out two high performers in Tomori and White is risky...White has burned his bridges with England so he can sling his hook. Tomori apparently isn't good enough on the ball for Southgate

You'd imagine that Brainthwaite and Trafford are sure fire to not go. I don't think he will take Jarrod Bowen either.
One of Quansah, Guehi or Dunk will go.
Up top I'd say Ivan Toney will be dropped.
Unfortunately, I think the last one to go will be Wharton
I think it is surprising he has named Guehi and Dunk over Tomori. He does not rate him whatsoever or can't be arsed to go to Italy
Ghuei is by far our second best defender after stones. He always looks composed is a good defender and has good distribution. I think Wharton will go. As will toney.

Wharton rice Bellingham midfield is a dream

Pickford is pretty good. One of the best in the epl
-
I bet he's in the preliminary
-
I'd rather take eze ahead of maddison

Insane sacking a manager who got an unfancied side to a play off. Delusions of grandeur

Now the season is over and almost over everywhere else, the euros Is approaching. What's everyone think overall. For me the three teams I fancy are England France or Germany. I'd take Adam Wharton ahead of Henderson. I think him rice and Bellingham would be the perfect midfield balance
-
With Wharton in the side at the euros I'd expect us to go all the way. That's how good I think he is
-
He's the perfect standin for rice when we need to slow play down

I still think he's a couple yards off being defensively prem quality. Thought he seemed a bit in limbo between defence/attack at times, though picks up loose balls as a result and tidies up but he is strolling around at times. Made a couple good tackles in that game though. Nowhere near ready for england 1st team in my opinion but he's looking very good.. thought Olise looked great also
He dominated mainoo and Ericsson

Adam wharton with an assist of sorts
-
I think Wharton will be in the England provisional squad

Top of the player ratings again

Yes that is true, Rice has developed into a top class player now though. He reminds me a lot of Ronnie Clayton.
A midfield of rice Wharton and Bellingham would be legit. I'd personally take wharton over mainoo

I can't remember who it was but it was said on the radio when driving home from Leicester that a clause in Trafford's contract was that he had to play in 75% of the games. If that is true it reflects awfully on whoever agreed to it.
It is true. Someone at my work, who's a Burnley fan, said they should have introduced him slowly instead of thrown him straight in. He's never played top flight football till this season

I'd put him at 75 million. He's better than rice was at that age

Maybe but would they even get their money back on him ?
Doubt it

I could see Trafford being a number 2 to someone in the premier league.
