1. In Frankfurt from 11th-14th June and then down to Munich till 23rd June.

    I have tickets for:

Aus v Japan in Kaiserslautern on 12th

Togo v South Korea in Frankfurt on 13th

Tunisa v Saudi Arabia in Munich on 14th

Aus v Brazil in Munich on 18th

Paraguay v Trinidad & Tobago in Kaiserslautern on 20th

Serbia v Ivory Coast in Munich on 21st

Aus v Croatia in Stuttgart on 22nd

I've also managed to bag some extra tickets that I am looking to either swap or sell. I've got 1 ticket for the following games:

Spain v Ukraine in Leipzig on 14th

Czech Republic v Ghana in Cologne on 17th

Spain v Tunisia in Stuttgart on 19th

Ghana v USA in Nuremberg on 22nd (possibly taken by someone else now)

Saudi Arabia v Spain in Kaiserslautern on 23rd

The Spain games are cat 2 and the Ghana games are cat 3. PM me if you're interested. I'm don't want to make a fortune at Rovers fans' expense. I've just managed to get lucky with tickets and want to make sure Rovers fans are the beneficiaries.

  2. rover.gif i aim to go to that one stevo tongue.gif  tinykit.gif

No worries. Let me know if you bag another, and I'll see you in Stuttgart, if not before.

PM me with an offer for the USA ticket though. I PM'ed a few yanks on the brfcs forum but didn't get much interest.

  3. rover.gif I'LL take it if still available tinykit.gif

    404287

Do you want to swap for the Aus v Cro ticket that you've managed to bag? I've got a queue of Aussies who'd love to get to that game here! (as you can probably imagine!)

  4. This game felt and looked like VE day against t'barcodes so many years ago.

Very happy. Will bragg about being a Rovers fan to anyone who will listen and will make wearing my Rovers shirt at the World Cup even sweeter.

Very disappointing gate though. Where were you all? I've got an excuse. I live 14000 miles away. Those stay-at-homes how watched the game on their sofas should take a long hard look at themselves, and should keep their mouth's shut if we can't buy who we really need this summer.

  5. Lads,

I've managed to bag a TST-5 for Ghana, but one of the games clashes with the Aus v Croatia game on 22nd June, so the Ghana v USA game is available.

I don't want to use the resale process as I want to go to some of the other Ghana games (I reckon they will get through to 2nd round at least, and will be dark horses - no pun intended! - to go a long way in the cup) and I'd rather a fellow Rovers fan was at the game than some cashed up German.

PM me if you are interested. The ticket is cat 3 so make me an offer if you're interested. We could meet up in either Frankfurt or Munich to give you the ticket, or I could post out to you before you head out to Germany.

Less than 6 weeks to go......!!

    Cheers from steven

Thats crap. No excuse for having the wrong name though, unless you can't type!

I'm still waiting for my TST-3 Spain, TST-5 Ghana, Korea v Togo, Tunisa v Saudi, Aus v Brazil, Aus v Croatia, Aus v Japan, Paraguay v T&T and Serbia v Ivory Coast tickets.

  7. rover.gif fifa site is still worth checking tst mania last night i heard tinykit.gif

    400586

yes, i picked up TST5 for Ghana (includes USA, Italy, Czech Rep, Croatia (probably), and France (probably)) and TST3 for Spain for a couple of mates.

very slow this morning though since then

a bit like our defence last night. i can't believe that i got up at 5am to watch that!

  8. I'm taking a punt and going out for the semi's and the final. I'll happily watch the group games from the Pub.

If noone else is there can I take the BRFCS flag to the final?

Edit - I only have tickets if England are in it!

    394794

How have people gone with the resale process for tickets? Anyone picked up any gems?

Also, anyone planning on being in Frankfurt from 11-14th June and Munich from 15th-23rd June and fancy meeting up for a few beers? tinykit.gif

  9. You want to meet up at the Paraguay/T&T match? We've got tickets for that one, too.

    386983

    Yep, would be cool.

PM me nearer the time and we can arrange something. PM me and I'll give you my contact details.

    I'll be the drunk one!!

  10. rover.gif i'm following tickets on german e-bay england v paraguay averaging 500 euros tinykit.gif

    386665

I got Paraguay v T&T allocated through FIFA from my conditional ticket application.

I'm also following a couple of Aus v Croatia tickets, but I think I'm going to get priced out of the market.

I'm going to drink so much in Germany!!

  11. Yeh, Same here.

Im after a couple of tickets for the Last 16 game  at Kaiserslautern.

No chance of getting any on there I'm afraid.

    384679

Did anyone succeed in Phase 4? I stayed up from 10pm (when the tickets went on sale) to 1.30am before the site updated to German text and was all red, in other words all sold out.

Does anyone know if there are going to be any more tickets released. Apparently there were some more released last night too?

I'm looking for tickets to any games in Munich, and also any Australia games if you know anyone looking to offload any?!?!

  12. I'm waiting on the next FIFA ballot where I've asked for Australian group tickets, Portugal v Iran tickets and Finals' tickets. Hopefully I'll get something out of ballot and at least get to see a game in a stadium.

    375799

Have you heard that the Brazil v Aus game was one of the most oversubscribed matches of the group stages? I guess there's lots of people who want to see the mighty Socceroos, and it also doesn't help the game being on a Saturday too.

  13. Australia v Japan ohmy.gif stay away SteB, I want that tickets wink.gif

As for me, Aussie Rovers and myself have applied through the ballot for tickets to all the Australian groups matches, Portugal v Iran and the final. Considering I missed out on tickets through the Football Federation of Australia's crappy ticketing system, I'm hoping to at least get one ticket to any of these games. Anyway if I miss out on tickets I'll be there with 20 other mates in some square in some German town drinking wheat beer and having a good time.

    372977

I'm going to be in Germany too with another BRFC fan (Bristol Rovers unfortunately though!)

I'm in the ballot for tickets and I've also got my hand in for conditional tickets but I'm not expecting too much success to be honest. Does anyone know the authenticity of online sites like www.euroteam.info and www.razorgator.com as they seem to have all tickets but just at very expensive prices.

Oh, and can one of the mods pin this as I'm sure we're going to be discussing it more and more over the next few months and it would be good to use this discussion as a way of meeting up with a few Rovers whilst we're in Deuschland.

  14. Great player but the use of the term 'legend' is OTT.

Life can be so cruel....make the most of it while the goings good.

    370765

Agree completely. Legend is over the top and he isn't in the same class as Garner.

He was a good player before the accident but never recaptured his best, understandably to be honest considering he nearly died!!

He showed great bravery fighting back to fitness, but its time to move on.

  15. I hope Sergio gets a taste of the action sometime soon. It may do MGP some good too, to be rested or dropped. He hasnt been firing on all cylinders, maybe gotten a little complacent cause he knows there isnt anyone to challenge him for his spot right now.

    367144

What about Keith Treacy? Wouldn't he be the obvious choice to step into MGP's shoes, at least for part of a game?

  16. ***UPDATE***

After 8 home games each, Rovers tinykit.gif  are trailing behind Wigan with their average attendances.....

Rovers  tinykit.gif average attendance is 19905

    (behind by average of 750

Total attendances for both clubs are:-
