Can anyone make sense of this for me...?
Not a clue mate.

I'm amazed to see Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah is the Christmas number two...obviously not happy that the X-Factor's version has beaten it to number one, but still...it's rare for such a great song to get anywhere near the charts, especially at Christmas when it's generally filled with novelty crap.
It inspired me to listen to the album 'Grace' again, I haven't heard it for years and kind of forgot how good it was...especially this song.
Love this song, great great album.

This song is on repeat on my MP3 player at the moment, You - Atmosphere, from the brilliant album When Life Gives You Lemons.

You make a good point
Was that the one where a couple of guys from Led Zepelin turned up to play with them?
They were there on the Saturday, as was I, amazing gig, best i've been to.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have a new album out tomorrow, you can listen to it Here!, another great album from Cave, his 14th I think.

We can have a look at him, but we can't sign him at this point in time, he's never going to get a work permit, too young and not played enough games for the USA.

Plymouth Argyle v Blackburn Rovers please santa.

Was just having a quick browse through the forum and came across this. It's possibly the game I remember fondest since I've been watching Rovers. I don't think I've ever felt so nervous - not even watching us at Anfield a few days later!
If anybody has this on tape I can buy a copy of or knows of anywhere to download etc then I'd love you forever.
Mark, have a chat with me next time you see me on MSN, I might be able to sort you something out dude.

Anyone got the goals or a torrent of the game by any chance? Probably a bit soon I guess.
-
Did you actually watch the game or are you just spouting crap again?
Spouting crap again as per usual, from what I heard on Radio 5 we played good football for major periods of the game. People on here are remembering what happened in the last 5mins and forgetting the 85 before it. I'd rather we played like we did today than the abysmal performance we put in against Pompey.

I'll probably been up for this as well, as long as i'm not at work.

After about 12 hours in total in a car I'm home again. What a day, a superb performance by the players. Todd fully deserved MOM, after a shaky first 15mins i don't think he made another mistake.
Great day, great result. Now to watch the highlights and get some sleep.

I'm setting off on a 7ish hour journey in 15mins, my first Rovers game in ages. going up with 2 arse fans, so a 7 hour journey back wont be much fun if we lose.

For those not watching we're the full game on sky sports 1 now. about 10-20 mins in.

Stead worked hard. Kiraly pulled off a good save to deny him in the first half. But he should really have scored that chance in the second half. Maybe he is never going to score this season!
Luckily he's already scored then isn't it
I thought we did well tonight, worked our socks off all over the pitch as per usual. Must give Matteo some praise, from the footie 1st highlights looks like he had a pretty decent game.

Superb, nicely done sox.

A question for our American posters.
What do you guys think of the presenter Sean Wheelock? Radio 5 Live over here do a footie phone in on saturday mornings at 2:30am with Sean on every other week.
He seems to know his stuff, about not only US Football but also the English leagues as well.

Q: Who has scored for Newcastle United at Wembley under the managership of Kevin Keegan and then later in their career came on as substitute goalkeeper for an injured Peter Schmeichel for Manchester United in a European match?
The honey monster.

Nice preview mate. We have to get a point out of this game, my best mate supports the Arse and I won't hear the end of it if we lose.

half time barca 0 - 1 chelsea. gd game so far chelsea after not goin near the barca penalty area hav started to look stronger and stronger. they're probably a little lucky to go in with a lead at half time but im not complaining. also chelseas goal created by our very own Damien Duff

Hate to tell you this, but he's not ours anymore.
Plus, cut out the txt speak.

Also, Nick Cave's new double CD is very good
Nice Cave is bloody brilliant, if you've not got any of his other stuff, i'd reccomend buying the back catalogue.
Any particular recommendations as I'm a newcomer to Nick Cave, to be honest?
The Boatmans Call and Murder Ballads are both fantastic, i'd start there and see how it goes.

He hit it, the fact he turned his head to the wicket keeper as soon as it passed the bat gave it away, it's a natural reaction when you nick a ball to the keeper.
