I would like to see JDT stand up and show some pride as to where we are in the league and the job he has done...whether it has been pretty or not...enough about journeys and the process... speak through the press that we can achieve the playoffs with proper backing...put some pressure on GB and the owners...show the players, the club and the fans that you want top six and promotion and nothing less!

We have no pacey wingers who can beat a man and put a cross in..we have no midfielders who can put a real tackle in nor one who can beat a man with the ball at his feet..our best are starved for service...much us needed and I have doubts the DOF can deliver..

Jason McAteer certainly divided opinions but he was a handful on his day...Steven Reid never afraid of a tackle and who can forget the Wigan rocket...underrated  probably because of his last stop with the neighbors...Keith Treacy had a wicked left foot but was never fit for various reasons...Gavin Gunning another youth player who should have done better but had "issues." Alan Judge another Irish Rover who really should have had a better career here...injuries and poor management took it's toll. Seems as if we had the pick of the Irish youth at one time but those days seem long gone.

The more I read up on Warne the more impressed I am with him, especially compared to some of the alternatives being bandied about. Two promotions, done it on a threadbare budget and plays to his player's strengths. As a bonus, he would hopefully bring some much needed passion to the club
