Pleased to say I have walked away. Season ticket holder. Not going again this season. Not renewing...I couldn't care less anymore. I am done with it all. We had better players , in the old 3rd division in the 70s...

Slightly off topic but at Man City from next season, the only fans who will be able to buy a season ticket will be existing ST holders. Any newcomers will be able to buy a flexi ticket. That means that prior to every home game those fans will be contacted (or maybe they will have to contact the club) to see if they were going to attend the next game. If they were, then all well and good. If they aren’t then the club will sell their seat for that game to someone else. Any flexi ticket holder who misses a certain number of games without telling the club they weren’t going to attend those games will have their flexi ticket taken away. Man City say that around 3000 ST holders weren’t attending a game for any given home game and want the right to sell those empty seats again.
The future?
I think a few clubs are doing that now. All the top clubs are trying to reduce the number of season ticket holders. They then sell the seats at inflated prices to tourists..

You can do that without buying a season ticket. I have for over fifty years.
So you pay match by match?

In my view, anyone who buys a season ticket, is supporting Suhail and Waggot.
Maybe they are supporting the football team.

I renewed last season based on the pressure of the early bird offer and the fact we were going to build a squad with the Wharton/Raya/Szmodic cash.
Instead we got shafted, I wrote to the club before the season started for a refund but they were having none of it.
I was 100% on relegation this season with the squad we have, it's a miracle we aren't down there and that's thanks to Eustace.
I won't be going next year and imagine plenty others in the same boat, until some serious investment is made in the team or we get new owners.
The way I see it now as every penny I give the club is just giving the Venkys more of a reason to stick around and/or not invest anything. The squad will be grim next season after more contracts end and we accept bids for anyone still worth anything (Travis, Brittain etc.)
I have decided not to renew. Fed up of a lack of ambition. Free transfers, and loans. Then Sky moving nearly every fixture. To many night games...So I shall not bother.

How does the point system work for away tickets? I am a season ticket holder, but not a member. I have 301 points. Derby away is 290 points. The website says I don't meet the requirements for this match. Is that because I am not a member?
Thanks I advance.

For the first time I’m seeing patient and blue and white tinted specs types on social media have real anger towards the club
Please keep that in mind and don’t be swayed by a PR stunt in terms of the next manager.
The rot is far deeper set than any appointment, there’s only one cure now and it needs to be treated at source.
First Waggott and Pasha and then the overlords in India need ousting, there’s no other long term recovery here
Please explain in more detail how you get rid of the owners?

Seriously thinking about not renewing my season ticket. Getting fed up of the same story, season after season. Then to top it all, the many fixture changes...3 night matches in January....Just sayin

Sounds dreadful. I’m at the Spread Eagle at Mellor for 9am full English and ale, a short walk down for the 11:07 No59 bus and a ten minute walk to the stadium. Return trip £2, happy days.
Hope the bus isn't full..

Tough game, but Rovers can do it. Be a much closer game than the last one at Burnley.

And in the opening game of 1968. Cloughie had just taken over there and you could see they were going somewhere. I remember coming off thinking I wish we’d have got him in as manager.
By the way Eamon Rogers scored the first goal in the whole of the football league that day with a 3rd minute penalty.
I was at that game as well.
