I'm just going off the fact I know there was a meeting between Waggott and Assombalongs representatives at some point early this week. Fact. That's all I have at the minute. I was doubting it would happen this afternoon after the Lancs telegraph article, but now Gallagher is on the bench tonight I reckon that's dead in the water. Assombalonga or nothing IMO, let's wait and see what tomorrow brings.

I never said Nuttall was definitely going there, i guessed it would be the case from a previous article.

I'm still saying Assombalonga if its going to be anyone tomorrow.

I agree, the Championship is a bloody hard division to get out of. We have a real opportunity now to reach the play-offs, we should be doing everything we possibly can to get there, especially as we have already got a lot of the bigger games out of the way. I'd take Gallagher in a heartbeat, but is he the man to propel us into the playoffs this season? I'm not sure.

Not heard anything else but from the above article it sounds like Waggott couldn't pull it off... gutted if so! I'd still take Gallagher by all means but I still have a bit of hope for Assombalonga coming in.

Not aware of any outgoings, I'd say Nuttall on loan if we get BA in but that would be me guessing in honesty!

Sorry guys, no 11 o clocker from me tonight... As I said earlier though, Assombalonga is still on and he is the number 1 target. Very much doubt we are getting both now as Boro want Gallagher too supposedly so could be a case of them having Gally and we have BA. Interesting couple of days ahead.

Waggott is due back from his 3 day binge in the North East today, let's see what the next couple of days bring. I still believe it's happening. I'm like everyone else, how the hell do we afford him?... maybe a huge wage rise if we get promoted? But i trust the info ?
