Hi Jack, you make some very good points
We have probably the best manager in the championship in Bielsa & he is our main hope of achieving promotion to the premiership
Last season when we fell away we had two inept coaches who were unable to get the best out of their squad over a sustained period
This is the first time in fifteen years where I go into every match feeling confident that we can gain a victory or at least get something out of a game all down to Bielsa with his shrewd management & style of football
I'd take a draw even though I think we'll win especially with Hernandez, Roofe & Berardi all available to play for the first time in nearly two months. We'll miss Barry Douglas on the left side but my main concern is if Pontus Jansson doesn't play due to his wife giving birth to their baby, Jansson has been immense in the last nine games, a 10/10 performance v Brentford. I've never given a player maximum marks in a very long time but his performance was faultless whilst all around him were having a off-day.
Should be a good game
Sorry but I must correct you.
Our manager is Tony Mowbray, and I think you will find he is the best manager in the Championship.
Thanks.

Really? Brereton should be on the bench ahead of Butterworth, Rodwell and Palmer not even in the squad?
Brereton won't be able to play due to Forest technically still being his parent club.

Looks like Raya made a few worldie saves again - standard.

Do you know whereabouts in Bash he lives. I don't use the Alma. Too dear and no atmosphere any more.
I may be wrong, but I think he's living with his girlfriend on Manchester Rd, across from the Alma.

Mowbray's putting together a really exciting young side..
Raya: 7 Nothing to do
Nyambe: 7, Steady, absolute beast, seems to be getting better aerially too
Bell: 7, got a bright future
Downing: 6, not the most cultured, poor distribution
Grayson: 7, Slotted in smoothly, very calm and assured- one mistake at the end, but otherwise didn't really notice him- good sign for a defender.
Caddis: 5, Finished, looked a bit out of his depth in my opinion
Travis: 7, steady away, looked like he hurt his shoulder or elbow at the end
Rothwell: 9, is class, love how he glides forward carrying the ball, well impressed, need to play through him more.
Conway: 6, battling qualities, kept it simple.
Nutall: 6, needs to do a bit more for me, missed a glaring header
Subs:
Palmer: 7 some crisp passing, looks confident
Tomlinson: 6, didn't have time to effect things really
Butterworth: 7.5 Dynamic little player, gets about, direct, links up play, could go on to be a decent player..
I thought we won without ever reeally getting going. I couldn't help but start thinking ahead to what our side could look like with Dack, Rothwell, Palmer, Reed, Brereton, Armstrong- Wow! That's some side Tony's put together there. We should really be looking for play-offs wth that sort of talent on the pitch!
Well, my opinion on Caddis slightly differs to yours tonight. I thought he was class out wide, showed his experience and provided a class assist for Downing. It was between him and Rothwell for MOTM for me.

If Bradley Dack left this club for anything less than 20 million quid I would be seriously pissed off!!

Sky Sports News are showing the goals as they go in if anyone wasn't aware. Carlisle goal was an absolute ping!

Chapman starts for Boro. Quietly hoping he has a shocker ?

I thought that Lithuanian lad might have been involved...
To say there was supposedly a number of big clubs after him I'm surprised there has been nothing official from the club?
Any idea?

Although today is classed as 'Deadline Day', surely everyone is aware it's not really - hence why only 3 permanent transfers have been completed today in the EFL.
30th August is deadline day, if we are where we are now on the 30th August, then it is time to panic and ask WTF has gone on!
In Tony We (or I) Trust

Jim White on Talksport has just said that Freeman is having a medical at Rovers!
Fernandes at QPR could look very, very daft if we pull this off!!

I'll be extremely surprised if we got Freeman today after the QPR chairman saying he's not for sale on Twitter last night!

Tony Mowbray had a farm, E I E I O
With a Wily Wily here, a Wily Wily there, here a Wily, there a Wily, everywhere a Wily Wily.
Hope he signs!

I don't understand why you'd bring Brereton on and put him out wide, surely Palmer would be the logical choice?!
