Just watched Phil Taylor win his third South African Challenge Trophy, Taylor, Part, King, Wade and four South African players took part.
The South African's all going out in the quarter finals, Wade bt King and Taylor bt Part in the semi's, Taylort bt Wade 6-4 in the final although Wade was struggling with with an injury to his throwing hand.
Mervyn King did a nine darter, as nice as it is to see someone do this, I just can't stand the bloke.

Ted Hanky is to play in the Grand Slam of Darts this year, this is the tournament which mixes the PDC and BDO players, Hanky and Martin Adams have in the past refused to take part in the competition, but I think Hanky is testing the water here to see how good he is against PDC players.
If he does well then I just wonder if he would cross over to the PDC, personally I don't think he will be able to match some of the top PDC players.

Bruno Burner playing for Leicester as well, and Danny Simpson playing centre back for the Toon.

It is a sad day for football, a great man who had a genuine passion for the game, will be sadly missed.
RIP Sir Bobby

I think Taylor has put weight on, but when he was slimmer he struggled with his form, not sure if that was down to him losing weight or that he did change his darts at that time.
-
Finnished 18-4 to Taylor, Jenkins again failing to be on his top game in a final.
-
Everytime I have seen Jenkins in a final he has never done himself justice, he never seems to play at his best, he has to keep up with Taylor, if he lets him get 3 or 4 legs ahead then then it will be all over as I can't see Taylor dropping legs on his own throw.
-
He will need to be on top of his game tonight if he is to have any chance of beating Taylor.
-
I watched the final legs in the pub with very little sound on and after watching it again after Sky + , what was Barny doing at the end he seemed to lose it then did a love in speech about Taylor, I did honestly think that he was going to announce his retirement when he got on the mic
-
Barny looked a better player than of late, since his defeat by Taylor in Jan he has looked a shadow of his former self, I know that he has changed his darts which hasn't helped., he looked a lot better tonight and pushed Taylor all the way.
-
Not sure if this has been posted before, but it certainly made me laugh.

Great record as a manager though!
and very he's very funny on Special 1 TV
-
Congrats to James Wade on winning the Premier League, I didn't see the matches as I was working and my Sky + screwed up, I'm just glad King didn't win it.
UK Open next and interesting to see how Taylor will bounce back, he has a good record of 9 dart finnishes at that tournament.
-
I went to Kings George's Hall when it was on there, I would think it's even better now with the bigger venues.
Nice to see Taylor take King apart, hope he can do it again in the seni's as well, I think it could be a Taylor Wade final.
-
Well, as expected, it looks as though Barton will most likely be offered yet another Premier League life line:
According to The Times it is unlikely that Bolton will persue their interest in Barton, so thats another option gone.

£64,000-a-week train fare dodger Barton is sent off in disgrace again.....
I'm afraid that with Big Sam any type of ethics or sense of morality goes completely out of the window. Allardyce would probably be happy to spend money on a dangerous-driving road killer like Lee Hughes or a convicted paedophile like Graham Rix.
Allardyce would probably see nothing wrong with picking The Yorkshire Ripper or Osama Bin Laden if he thought they could come up with a goal or two for Rovers. There's no sense of Big Sam ever being put off by somebody's criminality.
Barton's an idiot and we all know that, but you then seem to go off track and have a go at Sam for signing hin for Newcastle, like anyone on here cares about that, unless your using it as an excuse to have a go at Alladyce.

If they want a CHAMPIONS league, then it should surely just be the champions of each league?
The rest could go into the Europa cup.
Your right as the title suggests it should be just the Champions of the Countries involved, the so called big 4 would be up in arms if Platini tried that, the other side of it would be that the likes of Villa and Everton would never get a sniff of a Champions League place, if the qualifying places were cut down.
Been watching SSN coverage of the build up to the match and they have been interviewing Utd fans outside Old Trafford, and strangely enough not one of them interviewed had a Manc accent.

Andy Fordham is on the comeback trail and has joined the PDC, I think it might take a while for him to back to the level he was at, I read an article where Fordham said he couldn't remember much about the final when he beat Mervyn King in the BDO final a few years back as he was so drunk.
How bad is that for King, being beaten by somebody who pi$$ed out their head.
-
Was a great final,Barney was not at his best but Taylor showed how good he is, certainly deserved title number 14, here's looking forward to the Pem league.
-
PDC World Championship now into secrond round games and Taylor looking in good form beating Van Gerwen 4-0, I thought Van Gerwen would have given Taylor a bit more of a game.
Already out are defending world champion John Part, Scholten, Manley and Lloyd.
-
The guy is getting coverage after the video on Youtube, he's been appearing on SSN today outside Anfield and taliking to Phil Thompson.
-
Another good win for Taylor last night beating Barney 6-2 in the Grand Prix final, Barney has just returned from 2 months break from darts, he played well to get to the final but maybe just a bit much to ask against an in form Taylor.
World title no 14 could happen for Taylor this time around if he continues in this form.

Stephane Henchoz has retired from football after failing to find another club

I think Die Hard 2 was better, but Alan Rickman really made the character of Gruber.
Gruber "This time John Wayne does not walk into the sunset with Grace Kelly"
Mclane "That's Gary Cooper a$$hole"
