Clever this by Barnsley. You can see they have been told to pressure Wharton and Lenihan at all times, our two worst ball players

IMO the only player who was decent that half was Bell.
Putting ourselves under way to much pressure at the back with Barnsley pressing like that. Waiting too long to pass to the next man, and then making poor passes forcing the recipient to use 2-3 touches to get their bearings (in most cases it's Nyambe and Douglas/Bell being forced into trouble).
It would have been better to hammer the ball upfield a few times, give Barnsley a bit of room at the back, and then press them high. Try and turn the table.
Really lucky to be in the lead here

Nyambe stronger than Andersen!

That was all Nyambe!

And that's how you counter attack!

Defend properly, and the pen situation never arises

They made two subs and tactical changes at half time.
And Rovers went completely limp

So, guess it's total collapse time now....

Suddenly went extremely pedestrian defending there, brought this on ourselves

Wharton seems like a talker in the back line as well. He captained for periods in his loan clubs, did he not?

Third time - he's made two really good saves.
+ some crap finishing from Armstrong

Should've had a Dickov now, to pester Dickie

Why put Davenport on the right of the midfield 3? He's left footed isn't he? So we have a right footed left back, and have the chance to help him out with a left footed midfielder, but put him on the opposite side?
-
Gallagher (for once) with a good run, then (as always) weak as a bunny
-
Why pass to the heavily marked player instead of one of the 3 free ones?
-
Brereton is a better long ball outlet than Gallagher

Ayew a level above, but got a suspision that Kaminsky could've caught that

Evans a bloody liability
Tbh, both Evans and Lenihan looks like they are running on their heels. Looks like they're stomping, and not at all light on the feet. Someone should look at their running technique

Needs to go. Losing games atm might do us good in the long run if it means he gets the sack
Depends who would come in though.... It's been a long time since we had a proper match manager wise....

If we need to score 4 goals every game to be able to win, then surely we should go all out attack for 90 minutes?

I hate football

F it Put JRC on and tell him to run at ppl. He has pace doesn't he?

We're gonna lose his 5-2 or something

Well, if we played long balls, I would've given those two time on the ball, so they are the ones playing the long balls
