Since the day they sacked Allardyce and appointed Kean it has always been not what you know but who you know down there.

See also Coyle over Warnock and the retention of certain people whilst those with ambition who won't put up with such nonsense don't last long.

When you prioritise being 'nice' and telling you what you want to hear over getting the best people for the job decline is inevitable.

How true, time our fans smelt the coffee. VENKYS, WAGGOTT AND CO FECK OFF

Why do goalkeepers develop / blossom once they have left Ewood Park ?
Christian Walton .. Brighton on loan at Ipswich
    Jason Steele ..Brighton
Andy Fisher …Swansea ….all these looked very , very poor for us ..but they get  proper   coaching and bingo ..our current 2 make them look like Gordon Banks

David Raya and Thomas Kaminski had some extremely iffy moments between our sticks ….look at them now ! Both given away, not sold !

The goalkeeping coaching at Ewood is, at best , semi pro level ( apologies to semi pro clubs)

Our fitness training / coaching looks like it doesn’t work …and hasn’t for  along time
. We repeatedly struggle get players off the treatment table….as much wrong off the pitch as on it .
I know , from very reliable sources , just how much more professional the setup is at Bolton Wanderers …and didn’t they go into liquidation ? ..and do they get gates of 18, 000 plus each week ?

We’re tin pot from top to bottom …I didn’t use my season ticket on Monday ….the match day experience is just too miserable to witness… bloody dark days!

Please explain why this manager and previous others have had to pùt up with Lowe and Benson within the set up!

Proper clubs get rid of managers and their coaching staff and allow a new manager to bring in his own people.

Carter and Wharton pretty much the only two starters who can hold their heads up today. Garrett too when he came on, and at least Telalovic tried putting himself about.

The rest were varying levels of crap with Moran being woefully out of form and in dire need of a prolonged spell out of the side, a keeper who is costing us goals regularly, and possibly the single most gutless and cowardly player I’ve ever had the misfortune to see in a Rovers shirt at right back.

JDT might well be fed up and has a right to feel aggrieved after the summer. Nobody is forcing him to be so bloody stubborn in his approach though.

I’m more worried that Whartonthing will change whilst Venkys and Waggott etc are involved.  and Carter realise the club is going nowhere and decide it’s best for their careers if they move on asap.

We need some signings in January, and if that means forcing out some squad players, fine.

Nothing will change whilst Venkys and Waggott are anywhere near our club. Should be pressing for change.

I've just been told that Tomasson was on Sky talking about his lack of goalscorers again.

If so good on him for passing the buck, Waggott and co deserve their day in the spotlight.

Agree, but JDT needs to shoulder some blame - too defensive, continually playing players who don't deserve a shirt.

Why has he never brought on Garratt to give pace, bite and desire to the midfield.

Are IPS our usual lawyers and would they have been working on transfer deadline night?

Or do you think this is a new lot?

    Why does Farnell concern you?

Suggest you search this mans past involvement in football clubs starting with when he was involved at Rovers.

So let me get this right to ward off going in to a possible embargo and only being able to sign players for 10k a week we are limiting our wage this window to 10k a week struggling to see what difference an embargo would make tbh.

If correct, it only emphasises the complete mismanagement of our club by Venkys, Waggott, Pasha, Sylvester, Cheston and Coar.

Same old Rovers. Not sure if Broughton is entirely to blame, or if he has been trying but the Venky scum and Waggott have been slow in saying yes and getting things done.

It has been this way ever since Agent Anderson and his crooks have left and had no more players to quickly buy. And it will be this way until Venkys eff off.

    Have they gone?

Not much more to it really. We were catching up with them (bit of Trust solidarity and fan led review chat) and Pascha’s name came up. One of their board had met him a few times in a professional setting. We said that was more than any of our fans had done, and if he saw him again please tell him it might be an idea to show his face.

Got way past that Miller11, they have destroyed our club and Pasha has had over 5 years to engage with supporters.

Indeed when there was a bilateral meeting Pasha was sat under his desk so nobody cwould know he was in the building.

TIME FOR TALKING WITH HIM IS LONG PAST. HE NEEDS REMINDING TO TAKE THE MESSAGE TO PUNE THAT THEY NEED TO LEAVE.

Very frustrating, but getting rid of Venkys when we are losing circa £400,000 a WEEK which they make up, and probably pay average wages in the division.Have you anybody in mind who would take over the club. Can’t think of many who would want to take it on..

Think you would be surprised. Founder member of FL and Premier League winners.

Firstly, no need to keep shouting mercer. Calm down!

We can't complete with clubs with parachute payments in terms of wages. as shown with Ahmedhodzic and Porteous chases where Sheffield United and Watford have out bid us. Time to accept it and that why we need to back the recruitment department and by using smartly we will be finding these gems before alot of clubs do

But the owners would just appoint another one. Venkys and Pasha run the shop here. They trusted Waggott to run the admin side of the club for them.

No it doesn't. Rovers don't need JDT at Brockhall on Tuesday as most deals will be already at our level.

Weird that, it was open season to call David Dunn fat not so long ago, usually with a following expletive. Dunn, a bloke who not without fault, but has been involved in some of the better times at the club and his goals against our rivals will be in memory for the rest of my days. I don't remember any such thoughts or words in his defence afterwards.

If anything, I think I was being lenient. I find the situation very frustrating so forgive me for lashing out at the man sitting atop a pile of money, saying, and seemingly doing nothing.

Find me another CEO of a football club who would quietly allow Brereton to leave the club for nothing, Rothwell for nothing and the rest. All whilst the club has little money for replacements. And if it's Venkys doing, then a man with more principals would find his position untenable and leave. He's yet another disgusting toad on the gravy train and I apologise to anyone that offends, but not to the man himself.

My great plan although no one asked.

Gelhardt in , vale out on loan
Porteous in ,  carter out on loan
Vetlesen in , a.wharton out on loan

Diaz will leave for free in summer no matter what.  So if possible we should be looking for a replacement but if one does not materialise I think this would improve the spine of the team a lot

So much for for everyone's plans! Any plans could not include letting 4 players leave for nothing out of contract.

The bottom line is that while the LUNES FROM PUNE own our club, we will go nowhere.

Repeated public criticism… the best one was when Mowbray really bitterly came out and said “He thinks he can play Premier League football one day… we’ll see.”

I’ve also been told specific examples about how both Raya and Nyambe were treated. I can’t elaborate on here and break a confidence, but they’d constitute work place bullying in any other environment. I know I can’t expect anyone else to take that as gospel, but I believe their treatment played a big part in their wanting to leave, along with their contracts.

Miller, you are 100% correct about both players. I have also heard similar stories from people WHO KNOW, but i will not break confidences.
